How are the Crow Talons in PvP? If mugen is not lying they seem to get really good damage when made Sharp, rivaling Refined and surpassing it when you have 60 dex. From this I assume it's meant for something like those 40 dex 60 faith DMB builds, given that multi-hitting WA. But aside from this, how viable is the moveset in PvP? To be honest the Millwood Battle Axe WA is good enough that it completely changes how the weapon plays, instead of letting it be yet another cookie cutter axe. But I agree that the Earthseeker is very underwhelming, and Quakestone Hammer needs more tracking on the WA. Right now it's only good against ultra weapons.

I'm especially upset about the Earthseeker, which should have at least some BKGA moves since it's a double bladed axe, but no, it's a copy paste greataxe with an useless WA on top of it. I would have forgiven them if they made the WA into a ranged attack like the enemy version, but no. The other weapon STR/FAI builds get is the Wolnir's GS and it also has a copy paste moveset and an useless WA so they really needed something good.

I haven't played the DLC yet, finishing up NG+++ first.

I really wish the javelin didn't suck so hard. I mean they already neutered the reach, did they have to make the attack speed slow as fuck compared to literally every other spear as well? It doesn't even do a huge amount of damage.

I wish I could just use it by itself instead of meme'ing people for a while when I can and then finishing the job with mail breaker every time. I wish at the very fucking least if you actually HIT someone with the also-for-some-reason-slow-as-fuck-windup spear chuck, it would do more than 200 goddamn damage at SL45 with 35 str, doesn't even feel worth it even when trying to go glass cannon (so gonna switch it to raw infusion and respec into life and stamina I think). It's literally only good for the throw and even then it's just okay, not like you're doing ultra weapon-tier damage if you land it it's more just like a long-range R1 hit.

Feels bad, but that won't stop me from continuing to meme people with this character.

It's just so damn hard to hit people most of the time and the windup is so slow it's often not even worth it. The WA also gets completely raped by any shield (even small shields), thus why mail breaker is so nice with the shield splitter and the crit modifier for guardbreak ripostes.

I don't think that's caused by lag. I've had that bug happen to me and a friend and we definitely both have stable connections (there's a decent amount of latency because he's in Japan though, but it's nothing crazy since we can PvP eachother fine). We could 'fix' it by spamming gestures and animations like rolling around, so I'm more inclined to think it's to do with his or my PC rather than connection, but I can't say for sure. It could even be a combination of both, or something to do with latency.

I know the stat increases item drops, which is why I'm interested.
I have 6 or 7 consumables Humanity in my inventory and 3-5 Humanity on my counter.
Every time I google it's vague as fuck, and comes bundled with extraneous info which I don't need nor desire (hurdur you need it for covenants).

I found restoring my Humanity checks down from the stat, as does kindling a bonfire (I think?), but I'd like to convert my consumables in the stat, if that is at all possible.

Furthermore, throughout Undead Burg my Humanity started out at 3 but it increased to 5... somehow?
I'm completely lost here.

Don't blame me if you get banned anyway but what I've been doing is instead of messing with stats and checking to see if the distribution is legal, I've been just changing the Rebirth Flags and resetting them every time I want to change.

It hasn't been often but my PVE build was different from my PVP build so I did that when I wanted to switch.

I used CE to completely copy my character so I don't have to worry about cheating anymore but if you want to change your stats legit this would be the way to go.

Don't do it too often. From might have a hidden "total number of times" rebirthed counter but I haven't gotten banned yet.

There's two concepts at play here. Hard humanity is the count of Humanities in your inventory. Soft humanity is the counter in the corner of the HUD.

When you consume a Humanity item, you get +1 soft humanity (up to 99) and a full heal. Twin Humanities obviously give you +2. You also get soft humanity from killing enough enemies in an area when the boss is alive, from killing a host as an invader, an invader as a host, or a boss as a summon, and finally by sucking one from an NPC or player with the Dark Hand.

Soft humanity gives resistances, better drop rates, and it is also what Chaos scales with. I know Chaos scaling caps at 10, not sure what the caps for the others are. You also expend it to reverse hollowing and kindle bonfires.

Consumable humanity is "hard" humanity. You can use it to increase the "soft" humanity (the counter upper left).
Using humanity heals you fully. It's best saved when you need it to either become human to summon help or as a last ditch healing.

Soft humanity increases drop rates up to 10 total soft humanity. It also allows you to become human (Reverse hollowing) and kindle at a bonfire. Kindling increases your estus flask by 5.

You also can get soft humanity by repeatedly farming enemies at a place with a boss but a boss you have not yet defeated. Not all places have bosses. Black smoke instead of white smoke signals soft humanity gain.

You also can later on in the depths being the best area, farm hard humanity from the rats by the bonfire.

You lose all soft humanity when you die. When you then fail to recover your bloodstain, the lost humanity is gone for good.
