No, I played the whole game that way, the only time I had an issue was in a certain part where you control Lumen/the Firefly (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get to it).

I'm bored so I'm going to write some Yomawari tips:

>Walk, you piece of shit
Most of the enemies in the game are sensitive to sound and movement. This is indicated by their looks most of the time. If you hear an enemy nearby, start walking. If possible, tiptoe, as walking when close by will still trigger it (as opposed to running, which will catch everything's attention).

Use rocks when you're unsure on what an enemy does. Rocks aren't used for defense. They're for scouting. If you meet a new enemy, throw a rock and see if they react.
If they do, they're going to fucking kill you if you get close. If they don't, they'll probably still fucking kill you but now you know they rely on sight.

Most of the early-middle enemies move slightly slower than your walking pace. Keep that in mind and try to only run when you're getting overtaken.

Stay out of the middle of the fucking street like god damn.

You can use the right analog stick to move the light back and forth in a cone. Use this instead of moving your character's entire body while searching for potential threats.

Your flashlight reveals enemies, items (sparkles on the ground), and is the "cursor" for what your character sees in regards to interactions. If you have a mark above your head, something in-sight of the flashlight can be interacted with.

Save at every fucking statue you visit, but don't assume this saves your game. The statues save your spot for when you get caught and respawn. It's so you don't have to trek all the way back to the same area. Additionally, these statues act like fast-travel points, so activate as many as you can. You can only carry 10 coins anyway and they respawn in the same spots every time.

Use headphones. The game relies heavily on audio cues so if you can' thear correctly you'll probably wonder how the fuck some things came around.

Sometimes it's better to run instead of hiding in a bush. Depending on what is chasing you, they'll just patiently wait to eat you

Like they ditched flight and the psuedoshooter magic system because those were dumb, but you're still running up on guys and chaining sword skills together and crap. biggest improvement seems to be they've expanded on Lost Song's squad commands so you can micromanage your guys harder instead of trusting the braindead AI to do what you want them to do through the nebuluous praising system

I don't particularly care about the platform, price or where it was released as I have pretty much every console for every region possible, but I can't read Japanese. HF had literal endings for each girl that culminated in you ending up in their bedrooms once you got out of the game, but it's canon that Kirito marries Asuna in-game before the plot even starts

One of the side quests starts with the marriage getting dissolved thanks to a glitch in the system, which was great
