Why so dead? I recently started playing again but I only stopped for about a month. Did everyone get bored already?

I use strictly charge rifles, I'm not often in situations where I'm just sitting and firing at max range. The high damage means a lot more when your shooters have bionic eyes and arms.

I don't know how you guys do it but I always lack steel. I can't make weapons or armours for everyone. And the bulk goods trader never comes.

Do you play on larger embark sizes/mountains? Statistically, a 300x300 mountain start has tons of steel.

I do suggest the More Trade Ships mod for bulk goods traders, however.
