So, still no new banners have been translated past the FFXII one in a few days, and on top of that, the Halloween log in bonuses have been confirmed to be the same hat and throwing item from last year rather than the new items that JP got.

I think it's safe to say global FFRK is shutting down. This is extremely disconcerting. There's some talk of a WoFF global log-in bonus on the 30th, but I'm worried it's actually a shutdown message with a false flag title since there's no info on what the "bonus" is.

I am at an impasse as to how to proceed with FFBE. I've been collecting corn, but progress is slow since I can't clear ADV rider consistently.
Should I focus on getting materials to raise Cecil from 3* to 6*? As far as tanking goes, I have Amarant at level 80 holding his own. I know Cecil is far superior, but I don't know how much that would help my party in clearing content.
Should I raise Dark Knight Cecil from 5* to 6*? The Rider resist Dark damage, and he's not very useful overall.
Should I try to raise up Ramza? I only rolled him yesterday and he's weak. I don't know what role he'd serve on my party.
Or should I just not worry about the event, try to nab a trust moogle, and go for the long haul by giving it to Zidane? Dual Wield is always vaunted above everything else, it seems. I won't get much else from the event if I do.

For the event, burst damage is what's been working for me. I use Kefka, Tellah, an dChiz with the Fire-tana, with Focus and Cheer for extra damage and a little surviveability. With that team, with any 6* Lightning ally I can clear in three turns before the death goes off.

I'd recommend skipping tanks for this since Death Declaration is the scariest thing the boss does aside from some status ailments and focus on blitzing the guy. But I don't know what else you've got on the back end.

If you're having too much trouble with the Rider, don't be afraid to run the long ADV event for 800-1000 candy corn. It's way better than 0, and you get so much candy corn this event that you don't need to run the absolute most to get all of the good stuff.

If they are giving a Free draw, don't expect anything spectacular either. It is a collab event, meant to promote the other game, they will not release broken SBs with it, especially if it co-releases in Global.

It sucks that the damage isn't that great and it takes a chunk of JP to unlock enough skills to be useful, but the ability to position to dish out different attacks is neat.

Kain's killers don't work with jump, but even with them he's shit.

Kain has an effective 4.62x multiplier and a max attack of 335 with the new Scythe.
Lid has an effective multiplier of ~3.85 and a max attack of 327 with all her spoops.

So Kain does 22.945% MORE damage with Jump than Lid does with Ultimate Blow, but he only does it every other turn and there's no killers.

So against one of the enemies her killers activate on, Lid does 81.7276% MORE average damage across the entire fight.

Jumps are all physical damage. killers work with basically every special attack that does physical damage (e.g. barrage and rapidfire) so what's special about jump that exempts it? everything points to it being a bug to me, unless gumi has outright said it's intentional.
