The cast is excellent, none of them are very deep characters, but they all have enough traits and flaws to feel realistic, relatable, and likable.
I think an Underfell game could have potential if they focus on over the top comic villain stuff, it's a shame the main one being made at the moment is just skeleton wanking.

You are told multiple times throughout the game that the only reasons monsters can keep going is because of the promise of being free and wiping them out. The jester guy and Burgerpants off the top of my head
Asgore gathering the souls and having Alphys look into the barrier is also what led to Flowey being created and what led to the barrier finally being broken without anyone becoming a god

Asgore choose to put his people above his own feeling and the lives of people who were already fucked and trapped in the barrier for the rest of their lives anyways. Them being kids was just shit luck but what was he suppose to suddenly go back on the plan after the first soul? You might not like the fact that he killed people but those deaths bought his kingdoms decades if not centuries of peace
