I mostly use gas on rush due to the clusterfuck around the stations so everyone is forced to hip fire. For every other mode i use the incendiary because it cut paths and gives you an advantage when there is a group of enemies round.

The obtuse unlock system in this game is retarded. They had a limited number of guns so they decided to unlock specific default configurations for weapons instead of just unlocking the weapon then unlocking attachments for it as you use it like it had been. This adds nothing to the game and cripples new players harder than ever before. Is the game funner when you actually have choices in loadouts after unlocking enough things with this horribly slow progress, this is dreadful right now.

I've played many a hardcore game in BC2, both vanilla and Vietnam. It's just not enjoyable compared to non-hardcore. There's no true team cohesion. Infact it enforces lone wolf faggots even more. The game is simply not balanced for the mode, DICE would do well to not even bother adding hardcore mode to BF1.
