I'm getting a Wii U on Tuesday. Is the Brazil method stable, and good? I've used NUS Grabber to download several games.

Also, what do I need, besides (obviously) the Wii U? From what I gather, I need an external HDD to store games, and a large USB stick to install games to the HDD. Can I play online multiplayer, too?

Update that shit to Luma immediately because saying you're on the latest rxtools is like saying you have a state of the art VHS player.

You don't need to install A9LH to use Luma, but A9LH is a far better setup than launching into an EmuNAND in the long run.

I've not yet personally tried it, but the gist of it is you load files onto the SD card, launch a web browser exploit page, and you launch a homebrew application that will install the game off of your SD card.

So, I need to downgrade a 3ds on 11.1. I'm well aware of the DSiWare downgrade, even done it once. However, it was no problem to format it once all games were retail. This one got games and saves on the memory.

The Plailect guide awares me to make a backup of every save on unhacked 3DS via JKSM. How can I do it at all? Can't I load it only on a hacked 3DS?

Also, I was thinking: couldn't I System Transfer to my a9lh 3DS EmuNand, install everything I need there to downgrading, as well as making the save backups, and retransfer to original 3DS?

You have no reason to be running ctr-httpwn though. That's only applicable if you have a 3DS on an older but not too old firmware that you want to play online.
Like if I wanted to play Pokémon Shuffle on 11.0 without being on 11.1 for example.

Since you're on firmware 9.0 and have a working homebrew entry point, all you need to do is follow the Plailect guide and it will guide you through installing the latest and greatest in 3DS hacks.

A9LH itself is an exploit installed to the 3DS system. Once installed, you have full control of your 3DS system once you switch it on, and it will load a bootstrap file from the SD card.
Luma3DS is an A9LH payload, it can boot your 3DS into a patched firmware where you can do anything you damn please.
It can chain payloads too, such as Hourglass9 which is a NAND backup/restore utility, it's just like BootMii on the Wii if you remember that.

I heard you can use SDXC (higher than 32GB) cards on the 3DS but you must format them to FAT32 but people argue whether it should be 32k clusters or 64k. Which one is correct?

Why do I need .tik files?
If I download a game from the database, it includes a title.tik file right? Can't I just modify that and use it?

I transferred it through QCMA psp save method, however instead of being in psp save/other option it was in the play station (with the little copyright symbol) option during the transfer. It did end up where it was supposed to be though after the transfer. And folder had the title id but I'm not sure if there's anything else concerning the folders.

I updated arm9loaderhax and now my 3DS boots to black. I can't boot to anything else because the buttons don't seem to do anything - just the same black screen.
