The role system was really great too. HotS is fun because I don't have to worry about being a shitter who can't last-hit because I don't main characters, but I did like being able to select which playstyle I wanted to earn the most gold/exp. Supports could get extra money from harassing their opponents or the risky move of getting extra money only when they help secure kills or by popping over and killing the enemy team's workers for extra cash and to instigate fights.

medivh is so shit. I bought him because I enjoy playing more difficult heroes but his damage output is just too low. The utility is okay, scouting is great, and poly bomb will completely win you games against bads but early game with him feels depressing.

Pufferfish is such a strong ability that it dies in under a second to anyone who looks in its general direction, many summons prioritize it. It's already impossible to hit anyone with it unless you take octo-grab and then it does just as much damage as any real character's ultimate ability. And it does far less damage to towers on a much longer cooldown than a lot of the newer heroes to be released.
Slime build doesn't fare much better. Talents for slime itself are super weak and you only get 1 second off the cd at level 13 or 16. Dealing extra damage doesn't really help.
Assault Egg is a cool idea but it's almost unusable until level 16 when you get stealth coming out of the egg, otherwise scouting or being so close to a fight only lets the enemy team get a whole death against you. On top of that there's a good handful of maps that don't support it at all.

TNT is garbage too, but I like that there are actually talents out there that try and make it useable/rewarding. You get extra charges and each bomb that hits deals extra damage for each target/summon inside on top of giving you 2 free turrents instantly. Not that you'll ever hit anyone with it, but if you do that's a ton of free damage and cd off your ultimate/bombs.
Pufferfish talents are all just trying to mitigate how awful it is by default.

Jaina's ring of frost takes 1.5 seconds to go off and that is a telegraphed small ring area and people still manage to hit that, and it had about the same cast range. Grav-o-bomb is a lot easier to land.

Gaz isn't bad, he is played about the same amount as Tyrande and has a higher winrate in master/diamond. He's pretty easy to play I don't see what much you would buff about him without making him insane.

My guess, the designer for her model was looking at her face up close the whole time and from that distance the eyebrows looked fine, but once you add in distance+that shine that everything in-game seems to have the brow hair just blends into her brown spic-tone skin. Either that or a last minute color pallet change that left that terrible contrast with her skin and hair.

Get monstrosity for the first time in your life, get the spike burst level 1 upgrade, aoe shields, cooldown on Q, whatever you want. Sammy is a one man army of high-hp hunter-killers you can actually infest to double their damage. Half the cast can't even imagine getting near the fight anymore. If the game is still going on at level 20 Samuro is the only guy who can wear two hats for double damage.

You raise a good question, how do you carry a team of lesser skilled players to improve your winrate at a lower level?

Being able to play decently at platinum isn't the same skill set exactly as carrying in silver or gold. I find that even if I'm doing well soloing against two opponents in lane with no deaths a teammate in another lane can still get themselves killed. When going to objectives I still see people ignore them, and people that dive in regardless of my danger/retreat pings to wait for their team before engaging.

Your team probably will lack map awareness at the earlier level, and you shouldn't rely on them to delay a team fight or be patient while you split push or finish that merc camp before flying in.

At lower levels people may be more vulnerable to ganks and ambushes, so perhaps a more skilled player should try to create advantages by getting picks before team fights.
