It's the juxtaposition that causes the conflict. On it's own the flat, relatively featureless anime face is ideal. On it's own the body being shaded to show curves and depth is ideal. But when they're haphazardly thrown together like that it just looks weird.

How do you fall out of love with someone? I've been constantly asking myself this question over the past week and I've come to the conclusion that it's near impossible. At least, for me. Sure, you can move on, find someone else, but that's an entirely new story y'know? You can lie to yourself all you want, but there will always be that special place where the people you previously loved reside. It's really sad now that I think about it, relationships are oversaturated with this idea of security and happiness. But I wouldn't consider past relationships a waste of time. That would mean there was no purpose. You'll find that each time you open your heart to someone, you reveal a form of love you never knew you had. You grow, your perspective widens and you discover what you're capable of. Love is fascinating. Time passes by way too quick when you're in love, it's those little moments when it almost feels like time stops where you get the chance to breathe it all in. But before you know it, it's all over and you're left with a memory. Like waking up from a dream you wonder what in the world just happened.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want the dream to last forever.

Naive, tunnel visioned and unable to accept the reality of it all. Realizing how dependent I was towards someone who generated my happiness. Angry, impatient and confused. Wishing that it wasn't over and wondering at which point in time I went wrong. If there was anything I could've done to turn things around. If there was something I did to make her...fall out of love with me.

I don't mind it when nukige try to have good plots to entertain the reader and give context to the sex, but man I really feel like Silky's efforts come up short every time, more focus given to streamlining the games into clearly delineated routes for each heroine would make like the games a whole lot more enjoyable, rather than using a guide to bounce around dead, bad ends to collect CGs while being half-bored with all the narrative. In other words, if Silky's took a page in story structure from say Bishop I'd be quite happy. You could say that the story of, say, Jokei Kazoku 3 (from which pic related originates) is more memorable than pretty much any Bishop game, but when it comes to actually having a good time with dick in hand, I can't say the story is really worth it loss in both interest and focus.

After getting some late-game endings in this, I've got to say... this is a game that tried to actually be a good game in its own right, with mystery and characters with autonomy and atmosphere and so on. This is reflected in the many story branches - they don't just exist to be porn, they exist to also flesh out the characterization and setting. Honestly, it feels somewhat luddite to say this, but I don't know if this is a good thing. On the one hand, I at times was absorbed in the game for reasons other than my dick, like at pic related, and was actually enjoying myself. On the other hand, I got the game to fap damnit, and my desire to fap really cast a shadow on everything, I had little patience and was burning to go.

This game is really troubling. It eschews the "pick a girl and go" format that's near universal in nukige today, and thus reaches particular, memorable heights both as a normal VN and as a nukige - some scenes are really hot in ways I don't think would have came about if they just used a normal route structure. This is a style that I feel "should", somehow, be the standard, yet I can't escape that I prefer the normal route structure. I "should" enjoy the nonlinear story telling, but I really just want a linear series of fucking with my girl of choice. Even though Jokei Kazoku 3 will definitely remain in my mind as a memorable game for some time, I nonetheless feel less satisfied with it than I have with some random cheapo game that didn't try to do anything but act as glue to present a series of CGs.

I have no idea how to feel about this game, and I expect that if I ever do arrive at a conclusion, it will be more representative of my ingrained ideology than of the game's quality.

Well, I'm >>158189525 and I won't tell you Japanese is easy, but it's not really that hard so much as it is very, very time consuming. To frame it in a way that's easy to understand, memorizing 1 kanji is obviously not hard, nor is memorizing a second kanji on top of that. It's just simple memorization. It gets time consuming when there's 2500-3000 kanji following the last one, but it never gets harder than memorizing a single one - it's just time consuming. If you sit down with the understanding you'll be studying every day for at least 2 years, then Japanese really becomes a lot easier. Most people who quit or complain about kanji being hard simply didn't understand it'd be a lengthy time investment and got overwhelmed trying to move too fast, or worse, simply gave up before they started. Then you've got people who didn't give up, but barely study, and thus bemoan how they've been studying years and don't know too many kanji - not realizing what matters is the hours per day, not just the total number of days.

With that out of the way... it's not like porn games have particularly difficult language. You cite sex slave, but that's (often) just 性奴隷, a combination of 性, an extremely common kanji, and 奴隷, a fairly common word (slave). If you're willing to skim at times, like ignoring the finer details of whatever political maneuvering led MC to fuck female businesswomen, then you can smoothly read H-games without relying on a dictionary long before you have real "fluency".

People focus too much on kanji when it comes to Japanese, which is understandable because its the most obvious thing, but its not the most limiting thing to your learning the language.

I've been learning/reading/translating Japanese for the past 5 years and I learned 2300 kanji within the first 5 months. All the kanji did for me was help me identify meaning in the kanji and what the radicals were.
The real battle is learning the words as well as what more rare conjugations mean. I spent the majority of my time just learning words and not kanji, kanji is easy as fuck.

2500-3000 is the average amount of kanji a Japanese person knows and 4000+ is a well educated person. Kanji just unlocks learning words 5000 words lets you speak at an uneducated level, 10,000 is higher education, and 20,000+ lets you read a lot of different stuff more passively instead of looking up words all the time.

TL;DR: Learn the basics of how kanji work like radicals and stuff, then focus on words and not kanji alone.

I've got bad news for you though. The gameplay in that is pretty shite, on anything but the highest difficulty (or two) it's super easy to the point of the gameplay being almost non existent, and on the hardest difficulties it's hard in an unsatisfying way (the main difficulty is balancing your super units moves). The only worthwhile part of that game for me was the fantasy plot and the waifu scenes which aren't translated.
