But the game still asked me to update.

It's a soft CFW, so there aren't any chances of bricking with it, even if you close the installation by mistake. It will mess up your whole screen, but you just have to restart the Vita to fix it.

Just be sure to only install already tested dumps, since there are a couple of ones that brick consoles which have been posted on plebbit.

Or else use FBI and just scan the QR code to give it all the information it needs.

Freeshop games aren't wiped by opening the eShop. You can update games installed through FreeShop by normal means (i.e. through the home menu or eShop). And yes, the ENTIRE eShop catalogue is on FreeShop, just make sure you add the right URL/QR Code for updating the catalogue.

I have a 3DS, a goal, and a lot of shit in my way between the two.

My current 3DS is running RX tools (Which I think is depreciated) with a 9.2 Sysnand and like a 11.0 Emunand (My little cousin got ahold of it and updated since he wanted to play Smash online, the little fuck). I want to get things sorted so that I can play Pokemon Sun and Moon properly, have a Pokebank, and all that jazz.

Should I keep my Sysnand at 9.2.0?
Is it possible to play online or acquire downloads with an EmuNAND, and if so, what steps do I need to do achieve that result?
Since RXTools is probably depreciated, which CFW is a decent replacement?

You don't necessarily need a Y-cable. If the drive you get is USB 3.0 and you have a powered USB 3.0 hub, it'll work flawlessy if you plug the hub into your Wii U and then the hard drive into the hub.

I just spend $60 on a 1TB Western Digital external hard drive at Walmart. It works fine though a hub. I've also got a y-cable coming in that should let it work fine without the hub.

How can I run US games on my EU Wii? I completed the probably non-crashy version of the Dungeon Travelers US decensor patch and performed a dump test to make sure I didn't fuck up the offsets. I've only tested it in-game on Archdemon because I haven't reached the postgame yet, but I'm 95% sure that everything should be working now. Just copy this over to your /ux0:/app/PCSE00693 directory; if you don't have one, you need the US version of the game.

I downloaded aurei back on 10.7 and left it there. But now I want to update so I can play online again.

Do I just update aurei (well, Luma now I suppose) along with a system update? I've only seen guides on installing once, not updates. The guide I followed a long time ago was updated for Luma, so I'm a bit cautious on figuring this out.

Alright, I figured out my own stupid issue.

If you perform a system transfer from a CFW 3DS to a different 3DS, your pirated games are NOT LOST. Everything about them is still intact, the tickets just need to be grabbed again on the new system. Use 3ds.titlekeys.com for that. Scan QR code in FBI, and when prompted to install from CDN, say No. You'll get the ticket without having to reinstall the game.

I have added support for tickets on https://wiiu.titlekeys.com/

It should properly check the signature of any uploaded ticket. Past that I do not know since there's not much documentation on this.
