You joined one during farm content. There are bad weeks during farm content where a lot of the normies (which ironically there are a lot of in top end guilds) don't want to sit there and farm shit they've already done sometimes.

Morale has a lot to do with high end raiding, and even if you're the best guild in the world you have shit weeks. Wait until Trials comes out and then you'll see, gets a lot better.

it used to be farming 3 chest runs, it's how lots of the people in high end guilds managed to get a legendary before mythic raids hit too (exorsus's warr tank had a 29 artifact by at the start of the 5th week of the xpac when mythic EN released)

but blizz nerfed both 3 chest run AP and arena ap (so if you weren't on it then, you missed out), so uhhh pretty much just doing any level of mythic+ in general is still ok I guess, doing higher ones for 1 or 2 chests gives pretty great ap too cause higher ones give more ap now

and just farming heroics isn't too awful either

I'm at 15% vers right now and it makes all the difference in the world. It's a tricky spec not only because it's literally RNG: The spec but the stat priority tends to shift depending on having too much of one or the other. Can't have too much vers though friends.

Destro lock is fun, but not as fun as it used to be. Ret paladin is mind-numbingly boring, but does much better than the other two specs you listed once you stack haste to 30%. Frost mage is literally the worst spec in the entire game right now, second only to survival hunters.

Reposting; this talent set food for defensive-minded PvP? Outlasting melee damage through attrition seems to work pretty well when guarding nodes/carts from rogue and druid shitters.

Reap Souls will buff all your artifact traits by 10% for a duration depending on how many stacks of it you have at the time of use. If you're at 12 stacks it lasts a full minute.

A 10% buff to your artifact traits is actually pretty significant if you have high artifact levels (i.e., 16+), or you have the Soul Flame golden trait, but at lower artifact levels it feels very weak.

Destro and demo are only middle-of-the-road, affliction is rather good for clearing trash quickly in mythics, but other than those two niches, warlocks have been shit on really hard this expansion.

Every other class in the game has at least one spec that does top tier DPS, but warlock, a class with only dps specs, has nothing.

They're not even that good in PvP anymore, despite people bitching about cleansing UA causing a big spike of damage. Logs show them under performing when traditionally locks have always been one of the best PvP classes along with rogue. They're still okay, but nowhere near their prime anymore, and totally outshone by other classes currently (such as paladins, monks, and shamans)

Ah, you're right. Sorry, I forgot the exact wording. Yes, it buffs damage by 10% and doubles your traits. So the principle is that it scales extremely well with higher artifact levels, but at lower levels it's very poor.

The artifact overall is poor in general, as the other anon pointed out, two of your three golden traits are only useful for clearing trash mobs or adds slightly faster, but are otherwise completely useless on long, drawn-out fights such as raid bosses or dungeon bosses.

To be fair affliction was DOA in legion I wouldn't like it to be viable. Affliction skillcap was snapshotting, without snapshotting there's nothing to play around it's just dots and filler, and then they removed soulswap and soulburn and haunt which make shards just an rng builder spender for UA.

I'm really hating this crossrealm shit, though. Having a bunch of other random people from other realms swoop in and take quest objectives and gathering nodes is a pain in the ass, especially since I deliberately picked a low-pop realm to avoid this stuff.
Is there supposed to be an upside to this feature?

Almost ever other girl or woman I've met either plays priest or druid, some are good, some are not. There were a few huntresses and shamans as well.
I've yet to see one who mains rogue, warrior, any kind of tank, or WW monk.
I only count mains since those matter the most, one of those chicks has a guardian alt, but she's kinda bad with it.

For some MMOs with built in controller schemes (Final Fantasy and Elder Scrolls Online) this thing would be amazing, I'm really surprised at how well it runs, there are addons that allow you to play WoW on an Xbox controller that work pretty nicely, I plan on buying one before Christmas I think.
