The original Ragna was the original Black Beasy.

Basically, near the end of the Prime Field War, humanity turned Ragna into the Black Beast in order to put down the Prime Fields for good. This was the original Black Beast, the one in the Boundary. The Black Beast was a mindless superweapon that couldn't tell friend from foe so it wiped out both humanity and the Prime Fields. The Master Unit then recreated the world in which Ragna was eventually reborn in so that she could be reunited with him.

So if Touya and Naoto are connected to the Black Beast in the Boundary, that means they're also connected to Ragna.

BlazBlue SpiralShift chapter 4 & 5

An Ikaruga Ninja gives a report to Tenjou about that Nirvana having been stolen back by NOL and that Relius Clover that was there is missing. And also that Kokonoe have been wounded but it’s not fatal.

Tenjou always wears a mask, and very few people have ever seen Tenjou’s face. Most believe it’s to hide a big wound on the face.
Tenjou goes down to the bottom of the castle where the lynchpin and Rettenjou is.

Tenjou takes of the mask and there is no wound on the face. The mask’s purpouse is to protect Tenjou’s weak body from the seithr in the air and to hide who Tenjou really is.

Tenjou says that this “vessel” is at it’s limit, and that Tenjou had wanted to stop that “person's” revival. Tenjou had thought of using Nirvana as a vessel, but that isn’t an option any longer.
Tenjou transfer the soul to Rettenjou. When in Rettenjou, Tenjou can’t feel any fingers or limbs. Tenjou is in a never ending death.

When Tenjou’s old body touched Rettenjou, a symbol on the mask light up temporary, and it took Rettenjou and clumsily walked away with it.

There are two types of Drive Users, those born with it and those who awakens it.
Karengina was one who got her awoken. She sold herself to a laboratory so her little brothers would have some money due to the Ikaruga civil war.

The Laboratory didn’t belong to either NOL or Sector Seven. It was someone who researched souls. And it probably due to that Karengina awakened her drive.

She later got saved by Grimmwood, and when she got out she couldn’t find her little brothers due to them living in Ibukido in the past. So Karengina wants revenge so she wants to end the war.

Kagura is pissed of that an order to attack Wadatsumi castle, screaming if there haven’t been enough deaths yet.

Grimmwood teaches Jin that Tenjou is the Imperator of NOL, and that this entire Civil War is just one big farce that won’t end until “someone's” goal is fulfilled.

An attack on Wadatsumi was going to occur, but it ended it failure. Kagura Mutsuki ran into Tager and was wounded. Kagura ordered a retreat however some nobles ignored that order.
Grimmwood says that he has a plan to stop the war, so after a while Jin decides to hear him out.
Grimmwood thinks somebody is after a weapon that can halt seithr activity, and he wants to find it and destroy it.

Jin agrees to help Grimmwood, but if Grimmwood shows any intention of using the weapon instead of destroying it, Jin will cut him down.

When using a drive, seithr is being used. But in the case of using a drive more than the seithr that is in the area, part of the users soul will be taken instead.

The Unit used Karengina’s drive to find a suspicious location. However, afterwards Grimmwood decided to leave Karengina behind, and due to how his position is like Honoka was also left behind.

Grimmwood had no intention of bringing her with them, he only needed her to find the place.
The Unit arrives to the location and finds some crystallized seithr and believes this could be the place where that rock giant was made.

Grimmwood says that their enemy is providing weapons to NOL, Ikaruga and Sector Seven.
The Unit walks in and comes to a space with some kind of water, and Grimmwood wonders if it’s liquid seithr.

They see some ancient writing on the ceiling. Grimmwood asks Jin is he can read it, but Jin responds he can’t. And they wonder if they are in a ruin.
Jin hears something, and tells the rest of the unit to go on.
However, soon Jin got locked in and was forced to fight against a monster.
When Jin was about to lose himself to Yukianesa, he heard Ragna’s voice telling him that he isn’t like Jin usually is and not get so worked up.
Jin calms down and said that Ragna died, therefore he has no one he has to kill. He will only get rid of the monster.
Jin was able to defeat the monster through freezing all of the liquid seithr on the ground.

The liquid was healing the monster, but when it was gone, Jin could easilly finish it off.

When Grimmwood and the unit was going further in, Grimmwood soon heard a sound and saw Meifang killing one of his subordinate.

Meifang asked Grimmwood what is he doing here, and Grimmwood attacks Meifang in rage.

When Jin caught up, he sees that three of the unit’s members dead. Jin also saw a coffin hanging in the room, connected to several pipes. Under the coffin there were a hole, it was like a cauldron but no heat was given from it. Jin saw conveyor belt carrying corpses from NOL and Ikaruga and dropping them into the hole like the corpses was coal. And when a corpse was dropped, it was like something was flowing into the coffin.

Jin sees Meifang and the zeroth squadron and asks why they are here and what did they do to the unit, but Meifang says that it’s her line to say that and calls Jin traitor.

Meifang says that this place is the Imperator’s holy place. And not only did they sneak in here, but to try to give it to Sector Seven.

Jin didn’t follow what Meifang said, but Meifang said that is Grimmwood a traitor connected to Kokonoe.

Grimmwood tells Jin to run, that Meifang is a monster. Hearing her being called a monster, she’s angry at Gimmwood and tells him to learn how to speak properly.

BlazBlue Spiral Shift, chapter 6 and Epilogue.

Jin later went to visit Karengina and saw in how bad of a shpe she was in due to the zeroth squadron’s interrogation.

As he left he met with Tsubaki that gave Jin Yukianesa that Yayoi family had taken care of while Jin was in the cell. Jin did think to deeply about Yukianesa being missing since Jin could actually summon it at any time when it’s being needed due to it being an Nox.

As Jin leaves, Tsubaki asks if Jin is going to come back, but Jin says he isn’t simply only going to come back, he is going to end it.

Jin went and picked up his baggage. From there he took out some blue clothes, Kisaragi family’s battle outfit. Under it he put on an anti-cold inner clothes. And he put up some special made thick gloves that protects from cold. With this on, Jin could use Yukianesa at it’s full strength.

Jin is going to end the war, and Jin is going to use the only method he knows of, to kill Tenjou.
Jin entered the battlefield and told anyone that doesn’t want to die to get out of is way. Jin froze anyone up to their neck if they ignored Jin’s words.
Every time Jin used Yukianesa, he heard the word kill, and Jin was resisting it and had not killed anyone yet on the battlefield.
As Jin destroyed the barrier for Wadatsumi castle, Tenjou said that his “death” had come, and this is it.
Tenjou was alone in the room, Tenjou had told everyone to leave, that there is no need to continue to fight. But sadly, almost no one left an is currently fighting.
At the same time, the head of the ninjas told the rest to go on while he would caught up soon.

As Jin is going to Tenjou, Jin wonders why there are so little resistance.
But soon Jin met with the head of the ninjas, Shishigami Bang.
After Bang and Jin and fought a little, Banga was shocked to see that Tenjou was still here.
Jin began to have an internal fight with Yukianesa, Yukianesa wanting to kill everyone while Jin wasn’t going to do it.

Jin used his astral to freeze the entire room and cut down Bang.

Bang told Tenjou to run away while Jin went to talk with Tenjou.

Jin asked Tenjou what that things was, that Meifang had said existed for the Imperator’s sake.

He said it was the thing that eats the death’s that was being paid as a price for freedom and peace. The “war” itself.

And Tenjou says that he himself is only a “puppet” that gives birth to “death”.
Tenjou tells Jin to put an end to this, and fight back against the “death” that will be born.
Tenjou throws a charm as an attack against Jin, but Jin knows that it’s only meant to be a bait for Jin to kill Tenjou.

So Jin willingly takes the bait and uses Yukikaze to kill Tenjou.

After seeing that Tenjou was a woman looking like his sister Saya due to dropping the mask, Jin beings to realize what it all meant.
That this “war” existed for that “coffin's” sake. That this war was so people was going to die.
A man came and said that he had being looking for Jin. The man said that Jin had been cruel for leaving him behind.

Jin knows someone is there, that it’s an humanoid shape. But Jin can’t understand who it is.
Jin asks the man who he is, and he answers that he is Honoka.
Jin can remember that name, it’s someone that had been with Jin recently. But Jin can’t remember Honoka’s face. What hair color he had, what eye color he had. Jin believed Honoka was a small boy, but Jin can’t think of how big height difference there really was.
Honoka began to tauntingly talk with Jin.
But soon, a black snake head attacked Jin.
Honoka began to walk closely towards Jin with a more vulgar way of speaking saying that Jin shouldn’t know too much.
Now Jin could make out how Honoka looks like. He was tall and wore a black suit with a black hat, and his hair color was green.
“Honoka” said that Jin had done a good job, and that he will take Tenjou’s corpse and Jin’s memory.

Jin was in a quite room. Jin thought that Yukianesa had taken Jin’s conscious for a moment.

With Tenjou’s death, all of Ikaruga’s soldier lost their will to fight. Some of NOL tried to continue to fight due to the order being to annihilated, to slaughter all of Ikaruga.

But Jin said that the war was over, that if any kind of killing is being done, he won’t forgive it. And no one dared to go against Jin’s word.

Some time later as Jin was walking in a corridor, he met with Meifang. Jin and let Meifang pass and talked politely with her. But as she had gone by, Jin’s gaze toward her was filled with murderous intent that was coming for the bottom of Jin’s heart.

In another place near a hanging coffin, a man with a Black suit wonders if the perpetration was complete.

A Masked man said that it will take some time before it awakens.

The man in suit says that he knows that. And for that sake they will also have to prepare the “Successor of Azure”.

The man in suit asked the Masked man if it was he that sent the Zeroth Squadron before.
The masked man said that he didn’t want to have any interference, but the man in suit said that if the masked man personally had gone it would have gone smoother, but the masked man said that there was no need for him to go at that level. And that he wanted to observe Meifang’s soul.
The man in suit asks if it’s okay with that. That she feels a little dangerous.
The man says that she is quite interesting, but that he will leave the rest to the man in suit called Hazama while he goes to tune Ignis.
Hazama asked to the coffin of how it was to eat that many “deaths”, but it seemed like it wasn’t enough.
Hazama said that there are still many “deaths” left in this world. And tells it, Hades Izanami, to soon wake up.
Hazama says that it will become much funnier.

However, Ragna doesn't have any such ability, and by his own admission, he didn't have a Drive of his own to begin with.

It's strange. Central Fiction no doubt was conclusive for many characters but it felt like in those conclusions a whole lot of new possibilities opened up for the cast members.
