Scout is a wandering marauder, a skilled outdoorsmen, a weary traveller. A cynical loner who rejects the supposed grandiose moral righteousness of his country's cause in the war perhaps believing it is a mockery of reason. Underneath Tanker's seemingly normal if a little gruff exterior he harbours a dark and sinister secret: he revels in the carnage of war. To him, battle is a magnificent and bloody symphony with him as the conductor. In fact were it up to him this war would never see an end. For some reason my FPS dropped a lot on this map at that round. Can be because of the play.tv recording program, or some other issue. FPS was much higher on other maps and on singelplayer. But either way, game is fun and the anti tank rifle is satisfying as fuck

I've been really shit at this game ever since it came out last week. Pretty much all of my points came from objectives, spotting & heals. I play medic almost exclusively to use rifles even though it means getting instagbbed at close range almost every time by everyone hip-firing smgs. I unlocked the Mondragon & its variants because it has a neat history, and ever since then I rape everyone and everything with this rifle.

Attackers get 3 attempts to cap all points from defenders in rolling set of flags. Defenders can retake flags, but if they are both lost, the attackers advance forward to next set of flags.
It takes the best of rush and mixes it with elements of conquest, making something more than the sum of the parts.

Sounds stupid, but make sure drivers are up to date. Geforce updated Nvidia's this morning for an FPS boost. Similarly stupid, but possible, is to make sure it's actually using your graphics card and not built in. I've heard from a few that dodgy boot options and settings are resulting in people accidentally running off of it.

Similarly, turn off anything related to reflected,hdr, enable v-sync and cap framerate if it's that bad. I've a 980/i7490k and it runs superb.

Overall you can see that the Storm is a pretty bad option overall. You get less accuracy and control only so you can get iron sights.

The Trench is superior to both of the other version is hipfire, but lacks control and accuracy too.

And lastly the Telescopic sacrifices iron sights for a minimum 2.00x sight. This does cover the entire screen so you may be ambushed easy. You do also get superior control and accuracy though.

I am kinda worried about the longevity of BF1. With the upgrade/mod system gone, there is nothing to look forward too. While i welcome this change, the player demographic of Battlefield 2, Bad Company, BF3&4 is used to this system and it has become a core part of the franchise.

Put two equally skilled guys in a scenario where both of them suddenly walk into each other, without having known the others position before. The guy with the automatic is going to win, he deals a lot more damage in a shorter time and can still move a bit thanks to spray. A medic has to really aim for the head and make these shots or he dies in 1 second.

At point blank range, sure.
If by "the automatic" you mean an SMG or the BAR. And honestly the full auto medic rifles are generally about as effective as MG's at very close range if there's only one target.

Also, it's a class based game, and those classes have abilities beyond their gun. Not every class of guns needs to be just as good as every other. The medic is supposed to be a support.

Not by much though. I only really find the Cei-Rigotti a bit better because it's one of the few guns that's useful to at least some degree in most every situation you'll come across. Mondragon and Slebstadler are pretty good and generally easier to do good with though. The other one is somewhat weaker if only because the Cei-Rigotti does most of what it does too without being useless past 3 feet. Only touched Cei-Rigotti and Mondragon since beta though.

If you can't aim for shit Trench variety weapons might be a good go, generally great at hipfiring and thus spraying. Full auto guns in general tend to be a bit easier to aim with. At least I'd figure, dunno about console aiming. Also, mortars are sicknasty if you're competant with them and they don't really require aiming.

I did. Min graphics is a 660 so I beat that, recommended is a 1060 so I'm 3 gens behind there but there are cases where recommended isn't necessary and cases where you really require it.

On the CPU front I've got no fucking clue. I know the min is 3.5Ghz and is an i5 so I can overlock to that but it's a 6600k so I don't know if there is an inherent difference. Same goes for the recommended i7 3.6ghz.

Everything is unmatched/unevenly balanced, no attachments barely, and theres like 5 fucking guns per class which all suck balls. Surprised to see so many of you complaining. All things considered I am enjoying it way fucking more than bf4 and hardline combined. And even if they are surely "Michael-Bay-over-the-line", the war stories seem cool and interesting. Turns out the niggers appear way more in the commercials than in the actual game. It also gives you the feeling of dread and despair this war should convey. As a world war 1 amateur student, I'm happy with the product
