Fire mage or WW monk for raiding/mythic+? Fuck arms, I'm done with shitty rng. Fire mage is ranged which is much more wanted for raids, but it does have a bit of rng(the artifact fixes that at least I think). Monk is melee but has almost no rng. Which is better?

I just wanted a class that can rdps and heal. I've always loved both druids and shamans because of that. Elemental shamans are the butt of jokes and moonkins are purposely designed to be shit dps because "lol you have 45 sec CD silence so people will bring you along" Not even joking, that's Blizz's reply in a QA.

Still, I'm levelling a shaman just to play elem as an alt because fuck it.

Dont get me wrong, I would LOVE to live in your world, where warlock deal crazy DPS but have to balance their Mana/HP/DPS by constantly managing lifetap without killing themselves

Except that reality doesnt exist and never existed, you hit lifetap twice a minute at best and it barely touch your hp. Even a shitter who does it standing still will barely feel a DPS loss because it's 2GCD out of 40+

Well I am leaning towards a plate wearing tank, I like the class fantasy of DK, but I am weary of leveling one since frost is balls and Unholy is ok.... Warrior seems cool but something tells me they're going to nerf it into the ground. Why is DH tank so fun, yet feels like a wet noodle compared to a warrior?

Uncertainty is undesirable. You could heal or negate as much damage as warriors but if that damage comes in a spiky way, healers won't like it. This is why Warrior ignore pain and druids having a gorillion HP and defensive cds out of the ass make them preferable.

You'd have to get used to the habit of the tank if you're healing a DH or DK for example. Will he use his regain health skill here or later? Is he alert and saving up for that big heal or is he fucked? Warriors and druids though? You know exactly what you're getting even if you met them the first time.
