i totally understand you not having time or money but if that's the case let the monk rot and play a support instead

monk is a weak class and only with certain gear does it get good, you don't have the freedom of getting gracia and a random weapon and call it a day
although there's some big buffs incoming next patch(es), so you can look forward to that

exactly what I was afraid of :(

at the very least, what would be the most dynamic support class? I enjoy monk even with his sub-par damage because of his fun gameplay. I've tried to level a Soul Bender and a Crusader but god damn do I find them boring.

Yes, it is. You go defend and cry 6p then put on halidoms and tainted gear that buffs the strength of warcry. It gives upwards of 25% attack damage to the whole party. She also has a couple holds and pony mode which can be used to bait certain mechanics since she is invincible during that period. It's pretty strong, but not too popular since you mainly just press warcry and do no damage.

Best f.gunner would be fspit, but she's getting a rework which changes her game play pretty significantly. F.ranger is probably the second strongest atm, but needs whale tier funding, third is f.launcher, she's fun but mediocre since M.launcher does her job better.


SM is flat out the best phys dealer in the game, vaga is strong too, but she suffers from being "not sm/ds".
