Some of the later enemy groups give a lot of EXP, not to mention a lot of players probably raised the Moon co-op by then (which boosts the amount of EXP you get and how much EXP the characters not in your active party get), which helps. The Reaper also gives a lot of EXP if you beat him, and there's a pretty easy way to cheese him by exploiting the flu season's effect of randomly causing enemies to start with the despair status effect.

Dungeons are much longer than past games, especially the later ones, and as you rank up Yuki's co-op you're EXP gains significantly increase. Plus having Mementos as a side Dungeon that frequently gets missions means you'll be doing more Dungeon crawling overall. Fortunately dungeons are fun as fuck, so that's not a bad thing, while I certainly wouldn't have wanted more Dungeon crawling in P3 or 4.

Hifumi's gives you the ability to switch out party members midbattle very early on, so definitely that one.
Kawakami's is really useful for increasing your social parameters, so that too, and her max co-op lets you still do activities after visiting a dungeon (you'd normally be tired and have to go to bed).
Toranosuke's gives you an ability that lets you get massive amounts of money from negotiations, and if you find you're struggling with money, I HIGHLY recommend asking demons for money at every opportunity, since you get a shit tonne.
Takemi's gives you the ability to buy accessories from her (and then provides discounts on top of them), and you can get an accessory that heals 7 SP every turn, which in the later dungeons, having that equipped on everyone meant I never ever had to worry about SP again.
The other co-ops still give great skills too, but those would be the ones to bear in mind I'd say.

Yeah, but there's a shrine you can visit that does as similar thing in exchange for cash. Hers was a fun co-op though, so I'd recommend it.
For what it's worth, you'll have enough time to get a good taste of every co-op, and if you're smart enough, you should be able to max out almost if not all of them.

I think it's Papenbrook being bad for the role, on top of him not having the acting chops to pull off Nagito's character. He turned the character from a smooth-sounding, but almost spindly psychopath into a mostly monotone football jock. Ogata even said that Nagito was the toughest character she's ever played, and that was with a ton more experience and Kodaka likely being there to guide how the character needed to be. She spent a ton of time on pretty much each individual line, which is practically unheard of in any dubbing, much less low-budget localization.

Honestly, they should've just given the part to another actor, even if it would've meant losing the potential for confusing players on all the similarities to Makoto. Papenbrook was a decent-ish Makoto, but better to have a competent performance over some thematic connections that don't amount to anything in the story. It would've been nice to have some emotional range over being stuck in some vaguely jolly purgatory.
