How do I teamfight properly? I can do small skirmishes fairly well, but during big late game teamfights I freeze up, try to kill the biggest threat on the enemy team, then watch as my team and myself all die.

what do you do when you're playijng an adc and a tank zooms into the back and straight onto you do you:
a) fight it and hope the team collapses on it

Probably because you usually get ahead with Shyvana against Yi (she's one of the few who powerfarms as fast if not faster than him and ganks better after 6).

Shyv with bloodrazors + Titanic may arguably still be stronger than him but once Yi hits 3-4 items and both are on equal footing its no contest 1v1 as long as he has ult up and is running a more duelist focused build instead of the tank Yi build which falls off a lot harder nowadays with the nerfs.

Yi has two main duelist builds; Triple LS (bloodrazor/Botrk/BT/Scimitar/LDR or defensive last item) and Crit (Bloodrazor/Botrk/IE/PD/LDR or defensive last item).

LS Yi gives more consistent power spikes and grants much better survivability in teamfights since you can literally lifesteal tank through anything outside of focused burst. Plus it deals with Thornmail stacking better.

Crit Yi is slightly stronger 1v1 at 6 items vs certain opponents and gives you much stronger assassinating and reset potential than Triple LS (Alphastrike > auto > W reset pops squishies at a speed rivalling Rengar if you get the crits)

Basically run Triple LS against teams with multiple bruisers/tanks and lower burst since you can laugh off their damage. Run crit against squishy teams with high burst since you'll be relying on Alpha Strike dodges/Meditates for survivability and the higher burst potential from crit allows you to get those crucial resets a lot faster.

With both these builds Yi hits around 2.3 AS and deals ~100 true damage per auto with E up. In E's 5 second duration if Yi can attack uninterrupted he will auto attack 14 times thanks to double strike. That 1400 true damage in combination with Bloodrazor/Botrk + Fervor of Battle shreds through squishies and tanks alike.

It has been 6 years and the way the game deals with AFKs is still pathetic.
At least we can now remake if someone's AFK from the get go, but even this is greatly restricted by several conditions. Games like DotA allow you to take control of an AFKs character and it disables the AFKs passive income and gives it to your playing teammates instead. Why does Riot care so much more about the chat window and making sure that everyone stays nice and doesn't get """"""toxic""""" ?!

So, what are /lolg/'s predictions for the new champion releases next season?

My predictions are, in this order:
>an assassin mid-laner
>an adc
>a true support
>a melee-top fighter

We'll receive an assassin mid-laner in conjunction with new season and the new assassins update/meta. The last midlane assassin we received was Ekko, who was released well over a year ago. It only seems appropriate and natural in doing so.

Second will be and ADC, as ADCs in general have received immense success among the League community over the last several years with releases like Lucian, Jinx and now Jhin (there was also Kalista and although she wasn't quite as liked as the other three, she still saw a ton of play due to her OP kit.) Overall, ADCs are seemingly a great first choice to kickstart and "hype" the playerbase into the beginnings of a new season.

The third will be a true support, as we're long overdue in this regard (the last one being Bard, with Ivern and Kench being hybrid-supports.) Not only that, but the support roster is the smallest and the game and therefore needs a ton of love. I expect this support to be a strong counter to assassins, as ADCs, mages and other squishy champs will any protection they can get in this new assassins meta.

Fourth is a an assassin jungler, and I expect their kit to involve some interesting camaoflage/invisibility/trap tricks to coincide with the season's stealth changes. Not to mention that last year, we received two mages in a row, around the time of the mage update (Aurelion Sol and Taliyah) so why not two assassins for the assassin season meta as well?

Fifth will be a nimble melee fighter designed for top lane (but will probably also see action mid lane,) as we already received 2 tanks within the last 12 months, those being Illaoi and Kled. Not to mention we're long, long overdue for such a fighter, the last one being Yasuo back in 2013.
