I don't really know if they could do work with the 5koma as an anime, there's anime's with other 4komas but they can usually link all the komas together as a string (Thinking of Acchi kocchi, a channel or even puchimas), a bit hard to do that with the theaters since it's pretty much new gen at the beach, then Kozue skying, then Yuki having sex with a horse, Sae in a tea ceremony.. Too much trouble.
I guess they'll lump together all the office/beach strips, have the cast on all of them present at the time and rewrite it so they can do a 24 minute episode out of them. They can link them with photoshoots

Everything was business as usual for Mobamasu. Scamco is giving it the same love and effort as it always have. It's hardly "abandoned"

Because those particular bits are obviously animated in flash or something, by just distorting the image a bit, not actually drawing another frame. That's now queen bee makes their hentai. It's literally just manga panels traced and colored, then "animated" by moving parts of the image in adobe after effects. I bet that this way of not drawing any actual animation is a hella lot cheaper, because they pop those suckers out every new week or so. When you see some interesting H, first check if queen bee did it. If true, you'd be better off reading the original material, since those adaptations have almost no value.

It was pretty balanced pre and post move to /vg/ with half CG then half ML, then after steadier ML then around anime time steadier CG.
Yeah there's a few extra people than before but that happened with puchimas and of course an anime is going to get a few people interested.

Also because anime fanbases are generally more accepting of mobages now and they're far more accessible. SS naturally attracts far more new people than CG ever could have.
There are far more SS players than there ever were of CG. CG required you to be pretty dedicated if you even wanted to play in the first place, and then even more so when verification locked out the majority of foreigners that weren't dedicated enough to get verified to unlock their gift boxes in the first place.

I found the thread went in peaks and troughs. Sometimes.ML discussion dominated and I'd just stop browsing for an hour or two and then CG would be at the forefront of talk. Whichever branch was flavour of the hour, was at duty to keep the thread alive. It's not like the ML discussion was any more in depth than the CG discussion and it always felt like a handful of individuals since not as many people ever played ML in the first place.
It never felt ML dominant to me. But meta definitely happened a lot towards the end of threads (this is kind-of nostalgic). More so in 2013 than any other year. 2014 cooled down a lot and 2015 was pretty relaxed.
This year, in all honesty, has been a bit eh.

Just to add, at its peak, there were at least 150 or so active CG players that filled threads in 2-3 hours.
While verification caused a bunch of guys to become disinterested with the game and whittled it down to 4/a/ll and nobody else. I still think that CG players outnumbered ML players when the merge came about. The only person I know that actually played ML was Jal or random people on Project iM@S.
That's another reason I still feel as though ML was nowhere near as dominant as people are saying/acting, simply because the playerbase was never big enough. A handful of dedicated fans that did their best to steer talk that way, but never enough to make it an ML thread.
