I've come to terms with Tharja and her questionable actions post-marriage. It's a universal fact that future!Tharja curses Noire and neglects both of her kids to avenge her husband. However, current Tharja doesn't go that far. She does do experiments on them but at the end of Noire's support with her dad, she remarked that things might start changing since her dad tried to confiscate Tharja's tools. Noire is born weak and sickly and future!Tharja's experiments make her become timid, but the talisman is a placebo.

Here's one thing I hope they'll eventually change in Fire Emblem:

When a class promotes into a first-tier class that can use more than one weapon, they should be able to choose which weapon can reach the higher weapon rank.

Or hell, just base it on the class they're promoting from. For example in Fates:

It helps that they got the usual English VAs you hear in English dubbed games (like Yuri Lowenthal, Kate Higgins, Matthew Mercer, Patrick Seitz, Richard Epcar, Laura Bailey, Michelle Ruff, Tara Platt, Kyle Hebert, Liam O'Brien... I could go on for a while, they got a lot of fairly well known VAs in gaming/anime). They clearly have experience with this, and were probably given pretty good voice direction. After all, Awakening was meant to be the swan song of the series, so why not go all out with the voice acting?

Now for Fates, they were able to get some of them back like Yuri Lowenthal and Karen Strassman, and apparently Garon is Travis Willingham, but Lowenthal and Strassman had to play at least a triple role (Corrin, Kiragi, and Marth for Lowenthal, Mozu, Anna, and Hana for Strassman), as did many of the other VAs. They weren't able to get a majority of the VAs from Awakening, so they had to get new people. Which means a lot of unknown people. I have no idea who the hell David Stanbra (Shura, Kaze, Xander) is. Same with Sarah Blandy (Midori, Kagero). Some of them aren't bad. I mean this sincerely, I like some of the voices. But they're kind of hit or miss. Now, I have a lot of hours put into the game so some voices grew on me and I can't truly hate the voices (though I can dislike some of 'em up to now, I'm looking at you Effie). But they definitely don't have the passion that the previous VAs did. And some voices could be a lot better, like Camilla and Hinoka. Some are pretty nice though like Charlotte (as well as Sakura), and Leo (as well as Forrest and Kaden).

Everyone remembers "Time to tip the scales!", "Looks like teach just got tenure!" and "Pick a god and pray!" and so much more. There was a lot more effort, and by experienced VAs too. I just don't think Fates had that, for whatever reason. It's not awful, but it could be better.
