Flip monsters are relatively slow but Nemesis Warrior does help a bit in a sense, one of the biggest issues aside from having a slow early game is that fact that Mass Destruction hurts them a lot. i'm running something very similar to the second, with 1 less painful, desires and mst for a jowgen, rescue rabbit and warning. that build runs as pure as metals go, outside of gofu, all the big plays are just metalplays.

the first one can make better fields but is also a bit more unstable, more combo pieces that could brick you every once in a while.

i'm still debating over infinty and i'm not sure i like it, i've never been a fan of it and probably believe that any special summon floodgate is better than an omninegator, because the way metals work, you will want to commit the least you can to a field so that when they eventually break it, you can recover easily and hopefully just push for damage.

people always underestimate the impact of just recurring good stats. 1700, 1900 and 2400 is a lot for easily summonable and recurrable monster that can float into more damage mid battle phase.

Guys,

I got two questions regarding LADD.

1.Can I still negate card effects even if he doesn't have suffisant ATK or DEF or are the drops in stats mandatory?

2. If LADD ends up in the Spell/Trap zone as an equip card, can I activate it's effect since it is face-up on the field.

Duel monsters used to be like hyper cancer though. Modern kits at least make a shit load of decks viable and have outs to cards instead of just being stat check + generic spells. If you dont like the meta make your own tech deck or play utter shit, i played an all monsters artifact skull deck (0 extra no s/t) where skull is any card that looked cool and had skull in its name. I tested this with Sword Hunter's effect, and unless it's a YGOPro issue it doesn't seem to work. The effect text doesn't say the monster has to be sent to the grave to work. His effect activates after the battle phase but he doesn't get the monster. Maybe it is a similar ruling to how Magician of Chaos has to be banished if it leaves the field?
