I've realized I've barely explored Morrowind in my time playing it (pic unrelated).

I know the road from Seyda Neen to Pelgiad, to Balmora, and to Caldera by heart, but everything else is uncharted land to me. It makes sense because there's a lot of things to be doing over there, but not so much in the rest of the map.

Yesterday I entered a small structure west of Vos, which took me to the dungeons of Tel Vos, where I found a small story, Daedra, Atronachs, and lots of rats.

Who knows what's coming next.

I changed some armor values in the CS and they seem to stick, however, my pauldrons have a different value to my helm and cuirass despite having the same AR in the item window of the CS.
For reference, I made bonemold armor 35 across the board and the named pieces have 40 AR value however in game with my current stats, the cuirass and helm provide 54, while the pauldrons only provide 47.
What could be causing this?
For reference I edited BTB-Equipment to provide better balance and progression, after I finished editing it I redated the plugin so it went back to it's original place in my load order, in Morrowind obviously.

Yeah it is, you can never hit anyone that isn't over 1 unit away from you, same for enemies so you just rush them and they can't hurt you.
If they're in the same area, try drawing one away or only aggro a single one at a time, lure him away from his skeletal buddy and go to town.

I'm guessing you don't have any scrolls either then, you can try to position yourself so the armiger takes on the enemies while you cower in the corner too if needed, that's usually my go to move if I'm overwhelmed with a companion.
Also don't forget your racial skills and possibly birthsign ability, as they can usually help in tight spots.
What mods are you running that affect creatures?
Vanilla regular dremora usually aren't too bad even with shitty equipment, though I know those archers can be a bitch especially if you use Area Effect Arrows.

Oh, I have a few Atronach scrolls I was gifted in my last Mages' Guild quest. I should try to use them later (gotta leave for college in a few minutes).

I really don't want the armiger to die, plus she is very fragile, she is gangbanged by the two Dremora and doesn't last more than 10 seconds.

My birthsign is Atronach, so not much of use right now (at least I have my mana bar filled). About my racial skill: I can summon an Ancestor Ghost for 60 seconds, along with Sanctuary for the same amount of time.

I'm playing with BTB's Game Improvements, so that may be why it's so difficult at the moment. I love them, though, and with racial skills on for enemies, it makes fights much more interesting.
