the problem is that none of the fucks can play support at all, but if i pick support we're gonna fucking lose because it doesn't matter how many ridiculous things i do if my mid and safelaner have less gpm than me
the solution is to pick off lane every game, destroy the enemy safelane by forcing both the supports to stay the entire time, and also disrupt the safelaners farm somewhat
sure you might die a couple times, sometimes i even die four times, but you will have a lot of xp and gold and the safelaner will have a net loss of gold if he misses a few last hits every time he tries to aid in killing you
the most important aspect is that this effectively makes the game 4v2, and i seldom see shitters lose 4v2, of course this only works becuase the enemy is fucking shite too, but it's free mr at any rate
maybe you can say i just get carried every game, but it's very unlikely when i have a 90% win rate with certain heroes in ranked off lane, this is 5k naturally, i don't play very often though

Which is exactly my point. Drow strats are incredibly easy to pull off and incredibly rewarding. Someone picks drow, three picked ranged, one picks a good initiator.
Countering it is less obvious for most people, and harder since you don't have the access to mid-draft bans that you would have in CM.
I'm not arguing that I didn't deserve to lose, I'm just saying its a cheese strat thats easy to pull off, easy to convince a team to commit to and it's tedious to go against.
