As a Darius main I find this very irritating. Is Darius some extremely popular champion in Silver? I've only 13 games in on this season but so far I'm noticing a pattern.

You get tear for the lategame advantage. If you think you can keep killing without it go right ahead. It's situational, like all things. But if it's even or you're unsure about your dueling get tear, use abilities to farm, and set for late game.

In team fights hover your mouse over the enemy ADC and press R. Hover your mouse over anyone rushing your backline and press Q.
