Hi /dg/, humongous newfag here, bought this game last week (PS4), bought the Taken King DLC, having a blast so far, been playing for hours a day, but I'm getting my pushed in severely by this Crota's End mission. Apparently I'm supposed to have 5 others on my team, but I haven't the faintest fucking clue how the multiplayer function in this game actually works and would be happy enough summoning randoms to fight alongside.

I personally use Hand Cannon/Scout with a Matador in case someone rushes me. If you want to be that guy then by all means that works, but in most scenarios if you're trading with another shotgunner then you're a big reason why your teams are losing.

But if not, what's stopping them from updating VoG and CE weapons to current light level? RoI was the last big Destiny 1 content load. Even if VoG weapons are the end of all as far as weapons go, Destiny is now at the end of its life so balance is no longer an issue.

Stand on initial canisters shown on the map from the ARG, that powers the monitors.
The 4 people on canisters then jump off and wait for the monitor guys to read out coordinates for the next 4 canisters. Each guy has 10 seconds to get to the canister referenced by the coordinates and if he's there when time's up, the monitors list the next canister for the next section.
This repeats until 03 gets to the correct canister and THEN the Diamond opens.
