Well first of all charge by holding down back, since you can hold a down and a back charge at the same time without giving up any space. It takes a little while to get used to but eventually you just get a sense of when you're charge is ready.

If you're comboing into a move, make sure you're holding back while doing the normals, then cancel the last hit into psycho blast by hitting forward + punch.
So let's say you want to do jumping heavy kick, medium punch xx psycho blast. You would jump forward, then immediately hold back. Hit heavy kick in the air, hit medium bunch when you land (still holding back), then immediately hit forward + punch and you should get psycho blast to come out.
With charge characters the idea is to always be holding a charge when you don't have to commit to something like a forward dash.

The thing I hate about BB is that there's no "oomf" to the attacks. If Balrog punched someone you can "feel" it. When a BB character hits someone, it feels more like a game of tag.

Also, the combos are excessively long for the amount of damage they do. They could have easily cut the length of combo by half. This shit puts me to sleep when I watch tournaments because even though I don't play the game, I recognize all the BNBs and I don't want to see them 50 times in a row.

Learn to run brake, most important thing in neutral.
For midscreen oki don't immediately go for a meaty after dash ring in case they mash throw, jump up or cross them up.

Pin is number one way to get in, but don't just waste it, watch how high level millias use it.

Tick throws are your friend, do a dash ring right after one and either meaty with 5k, or cross up.

Against characters with a DP, you can't do your regular oki. So after a ring in the corner you backdash then do either 6k or 2s, which are dp safe but not meter reversal safe (very easy to look for)

Sorry I'm at work there's a ton of more shit to millia, number one advice just play a shit ton, she isn't easy to win with so don't be discouraged.

I said this from time and time again, and I'll say it again. Fighting games past the turn of the millennium are scams. Structurally, it is setup exactly like a pyramid scheme. Only a handful benefit from staying competitive in fighting games, and every one of the top players are sponsored one way or another. Every one of them! I've not seen one so-called pros praising an arcade stick. Sometimes they don't even recommend a quality arcade stick. I know some sticks that were really pushed that were just pieces of crap that broke down in less than two months. In the early days it was MAS stick, then it was X-arcade, then now it's MadCats. They get a cut, man. A lot of these guys have been spotted out of their schemes, I still remember Duc Do trying to fish people in early 2000s for his business. Mike Z or whatever his name is doesn't even play fighters any more, he is full time living baiting idiots to donate on kickstarter projects that don't even stay afloat months after release. They're all living on their fighter creds. The sad thing is that fighters are such a joke of a "community" that their biggest competition is comparable to a tier E regionals of other genres. Play a real game like everyone else, fighters are dead.
