But the champs are both incredibly meta in their roles and you can't see what slot a champ is going to be in until the end of the draft anyway.
Even if they were confused at the end of the trading phase, it should have been made clear what was happening as soon as they saw the summoners.

If there were any impact on the game from this switch up I would agree that it's cheating and they should be punished but I just don't see how this affects the match.

Yes, this is viable and allowed. You don't see the lanes in ranked too. If you can't guess from the summoner spells and champions, you're out of luck. The only reason a team is displayed "in order" is because Riot can't program a decent spectate client and rearranging later is impossible for now.

You would need a complete rework on damage and basically everything.

Boring early game is due to how easy is to avoid getting ganked and killed but the problem right now is that everything does too much damage and you can't risk anything unless you want to throw the game so you only go in if you are 100% sure you can win.

Only players going full tank can risk being a little aggressive.

I don't know anything about DOTA but I'm just gonna guess and say it's probably because there's more strategy and more actual fighting. Pro level play is exciting when you see people play all kinds of champs at a high level of skill, not watching them ask farm and build defensively, then wait until 25+ minutes and after the first Junglers dead do Baron and end. Here's the real reason why league is boring. But it requires backstory.

Ever since Season 3, Riot has gotten quite addicted to nerf strong champions.

Now I'm not completely against nerfing in theory, but it should only be used on occasions were champions are 100% ban rate in competitive.

Riot has nerfed more champions than they buffed. Wearing the sharp differences in champions we had in season 3 to the shades of gray we have now.

Early game used to be just as fun as late game.
It was literally like playing two different FUN games.

But now, early game has lost it's luster making our current game a farm fest and poke war.

We need ignite meta in mid again.

We need roles to do damage again. Lowering time to kill.

This is how you fix league, riot hire me.

icefraud has changed the game again and again until it's impossible to not die, there's no way to have a passive playstyle since ganking and diving is extremely easy, teams are forced to also be aggressive or get stomped

then icefrod added the rubberband effect so if you luck out and kill the fed carry now you're literally back, even if you are behind you're still encouraged to take risks and do retarded things since it can put you on the game again

That's a bit too much. Per role you should main between 1-3 max. Any more than that and your skill per champ will suffer. It's hard to realize at first but each champ requires a specific mindset and just the right build to play well with. Too much jumping around can inhibit that mindset.
