The point is that we have like 15-16 good players where a few are exceptionally good.
However, we are struggling badly with finding good players to fill the last spots and during this progression we've had no choice but taking a few bad players or there would be no raid at all.
Of course this isn't optimal and no one wants the guild to be in this situation, but most good players want to raid more than three nights a week and therefore favors guilds with a more hardcore approach.

Don't know/care about worgen, but Trolls being druids is because their loa are literally the same thing as the ancients, and a few of the loa the Trolls worship reside within the emerald dream and decided to teach them how to be druids.

Trolls are better explained than tauren imo, who just kinda "revere nature" but in a somehow different way than the Tauren shaman do.

So wtf do i do right now? i dont have a legendary despite being halfway through the order hall research for a two legendary. I cant even get through heroic emerald nightmare because despite being at "ready to enter mythic emerald nightmare" in terms of gear its near impossible to get a full clear done and every boss ive gotten so far has just been a massive pug roulette until one group finally gets it down.

Most top guilds literally go for caps, then prioritize another, then get down to Every Penny weights once the content is on farm and they want to BiS absolutely everything. It has more solo content than most other MMOs I've played, but group content is always more fun un any MMO.

I have the problem that I get bored of playing the same class really fast. My buddies need a healer, so I'm leveling a monk right now (now at lvl 78), but I'm starting to get bored again. Got a lvl70 warlock and 75 priest on another realm, so I'd have to transfer them. Is there any way that either pally or druid (I'd like to tank in addition to healing) is more fun in the long run than monk?

It's alright. It's also the only high pop RP-PVP server, so you don't have a lot of alternatives. The H:A ratio is pretty healthy. I think the Horde might be more active on average, though.

I only roleplay casually at most, so I can't really comment on that.

It's definitely not the best we can get, but it's better than nothing. The crit and haste are good, and the extra haste and movement that procs off stuns is good when I need to get-the-fuck-out of some adds.

Also, I play on a pvp server so in open world pvp it's fucking baller since I'm using sheep, nova, breath, and stun-kiting the fuck out of people.

That's what caps are for. MMO-C or your class forums on BNet are typically going to have people that know your caps. Aim for the two highest. You can also find dedicated class forums through Google (recommended if there's a popular trusted site), or see if the dreaded Noxxic and Icy have that same outcome. I'd only use Noxxic and Icy if you've reached your first two caps and want to see what the third best stat is to prioritize.

All else fails, look at your BiS and generalize based off the gems/enchants/stats aimed for there. There's a bunch of ways to go about this and be pretty accurate.
