No, snartle's only available that way. Also, definitely try to get him early, or if it's too late make a throwaway save and try to get him at the lower watch ranks. He's sort of broken at rank A / S unless you have a really high level team. Snartle is really good though.

For pvp does the stat calculation end at 60? Like once your youkai are that level already it locks into what they had there?

And i heard that past a certain level stat growth based on attitude stops, but i only saw that in the last game so far.

How early in the game can you get Zappary? And where exactly in Wildwood Tunnel?

I was thinking about this earlier, just speculating from what I know: The number of stat points added due to attitude (AVs) are stored with the yo-kai, and would, presumably, have to be added on top of base 60 stats. AVs cap, I saw an old guide somewhere that says it takes around 35 levels with a certain attitude to hit that cap. So, if you caught a yo-kai at level 50 you need to level it to 85 to max your AVs.

This is all speculation and I might be misremembering the number 35. If you leveled up something from level 1 to 60 with the right attitude, I'm pretty sure you hit the AV cap and should be optimal in competitive (ignoring IVs.)

I imagine you'd have to get the crank-a-kai unlocked first, but that may be the only restriction.

The more interesting number is how long it takes to get to the point where trading is activated, which is a bit after you get the crank-a-kai unlocked. It took me 3 hours on a throwaway save the other day but I was distracted, a friend of mine did it in 1.5.

Well Shogunyan is a legendary, while Snartle is merely a rare S rank by comparison.

I believe Gleam has more comparative stats however to Shogunyan, but that might have only been in the first game.

Yup, you have to go to the station that the baffle board near the San Fantistico unlocks. I'm pretty sure it's gated behind a s-rank watch as it unlocks another daily boss fight for a s-rank recruit.

Whole thing is a pain in the ass since it's locked to just before dawn. You have to let the game go for a while in night until enough time passes just past that white spot on the in game clock.

Shmoopie souls give you bonus xp and cadins are pretty easy to farm so you get the tribe bonus when fusing them, but you get the yokai bonus when you fuse the same souls together

I found sort of a trick for using soultimates on her, charge up the soultimate to the last point but don't fire it off until you see her start to do an action, she won't have time to steal your soultimate if she's in the middle of an attack. Seems pretty consistent once you get the hang of it.

For online battles, the meta is just to do as much damage as you can quickly, which means a party of fast braves with crit up modifiers, and the top-ranked team requires 7 completed save files to make in a legit way - so ... Basically you can't be competitive and legit, you need to inject or at least be able to clone with powersaves
