You don't need to max every skill. Most of them either have some useful function at 1, some useful function that attributes grant them at certain levels, or else they just get a little more base damage that quickly becomes irrelevant at higher levels.

Besides that, higher skills get caped at 10 and 5. You only can't max more than 3 circle 1 skills. Typically you could max every circle 3 skill and have points for 2 and 1 left over.

The problem is I literally can only hit these mobs with 3 abilities, one has a fuck long cooldown, one does piss poor damage and the other gets me killed because it's channeled and I can't stand still for 5 seconds against these mobs (and has a long cooldown).

So I'm left with fireball. Even with buffs it just doesn't do much damage.

Fact is you can't have a game like RO in this day and age and have it have a subscription.

Fact #2 is you can't have a Korean MMO without pay to win sown into it. It's just not how Koreans make MMO's.

Fact #3 games like this with so small playerbase will not have enough funding to carry on improving nor balancing the game.

I haven't played this game in a long while. Did they ever change Skyliner to 0 cooldown? Did they change how Deeds of Valor works? This skill simulator site has all Korean in these descriptions so I'm guessing it was changed or is going to be changed.

Also all these preview videos just suck. The characters hit for like 60k damage on auto attacks so it's obvious it's a buffed up GM character.

This game still seems confusing as fuck to theorize around. The one thing I hated the most is that it's near impossible to play this game effectively without speaking Korean or looking up 30 Korean youtube videos only to find out shit doesn't work like that on iTOS.

Speaking of which is iTOS still different in terms of skills than kTOS? Did they ever explain why? Or give a bullshit excuse like "it's impossible to implement kTOS patches because of reasons"?

No, I totally haven't done it 5+ times. Every time I wonder what all that other shit was for. There were times they tried to kill you, a couple of times they tried to open the library portal, but then there was other shit like purifying the water and gathering random crap that served no purpose to get you killed or otherwise.

How do I get good equipment on this game?

Just read that every class in this game is weak and only becomes powerful with an insane item grind / silver sink at the end.

Is this true? People mentioned transcending gear and insane silver sinks that take hundreds of hours of farming that only a few classes can do.

Like someone mentioned you can do 3 dungeon runs a day to earn 1 million silver, but to upgrade a skill to 100% attribute costs 40 million. One skill. That's insane. You have like 20 or 30 skills. Not all need it, but this seems insane. How do you guys cope?

How hard or time consuming is transcending weapons and armor? Is that another insane time sink?

You're not supposed to farm the dumplings, you're supposed to gather and craft them as you grind. They drop at a low chance from killing monsters, so if you're in a high-intensity grind party, it'll come to you eventually.

If you specifically farm for the ingredients, you're actually losing time. You'd have to farm a whole dumpling in 7 minutes to be even.
