I stopped playing this MMO like 2 or 3 months ago? All servers were pretty much nearing death.

I'm here to check up. How has the game been since the whole free to play opening? I was one of those cucks who bought into the early access shit.

Did they close up servers? Is class balance as horseshit as always? Was shit ever implemented?

There are quests and cards up to Maven Abbey, with Dumplings and 4/8x exp tome levelling now is 3-4 times faster than 2 months ago, rank8 has enough quests and cards for 280-330 with 0 grind, only problem solo questing isn't doable at all

Biggest change was Cleave now giving a debuff that amplified slash damage (+50%), sort of like Spear Lunge

Warcry (soon to be buffed on its phy atk increase too) and Frenzy have better uptime, pouncing now sort of ticks as often as Cyclone, but obviously only target shit in front of you and the main offensive skills had their cds decreased.
For Highlander, Vertical Slash now does non shittastic tier damage and cartar charges up incredibly faster, Skull Swing sort of more relevant now that def values can be as high as 1k

R8 rewards you with yet another slash weakness debuff (+50%), attributes to make Zornhau, Zucken and Redel at least +100% stronger, not to mention additional levels on memeclone and deeds, the latter greatly benefitting from transcendence

So how dead are the servers? I hated that I had to rely on others so much for my leveling. I was on all the time and I had to wait for others to come online.

This sucked. I was pretty much put on the pace of others and couldn't do anything on my own. It's like being in an ever ending dota match with shitty players who hold you back.

The problem is at rank 8 mob scaling gets fucking insane. Think of every mob as basically a raid boss. Unless you've got a really good build, you can't solo these enemies. They got way too much health and hit like fucking trucks.

Soloing just isn't viable for anyone except people with the best most minmaxed builds.

Real problem here is how everything is getting +% damage debuffs and buffs(sword stance, Cleave + Zwerchhau, Spear Lunge+ Serpentine, Murmillo and Slithering+ High Kek+Headbutt, Butt Stroke, Tear gas or whatever that skill was, notice how the r8 archers have none of these and are considered to be shit) whereas wizards on really have QC and I think maybe featherfoot with something similar. Also, there are various ways of reducing def, but no reliable one of reducing mdef

Another way of upgrading your gear. It's basically you do a mission, get some items, then use those to upgrade your weapon.
Each upgrade gives it a percentage bonus to it's base damage (only damage from the base weapon plus any upgrades, gems aren't counted).

If you keep upgrading a weapon enough you can take some shitty 200 damage weapon and it'll end up with like 1000 damage or something crazy like that.

It really depends on team comp. Even against oracle/pd you could win by just spamming heavy shot as an archer with enough damage if your side also has supports to keep you alive.

If you have cloaking, glass moles and high phys attack you can do 20k on just the initial hit of divine machine arrow which can just one shot a lot of people even if they have oracle/pd to prevent the explosion that follows after.

Oracle is unironically one of the better money making classes due to the Change jackpot attribute but with the change that made many monsters "special" it was nerfed a lot. You used to be able to get a dawn crystal fragment or superior corona rod recipe to sell every 20 minutes. Still works with some relatively valued items though.

If you're a dps wiz or archer (not pvp oriented) you can survive just fine on 0 con. By the time you start group grinding at rank 7 you begin to form a static group if you don't already have one and then you'll always have a healer. Having 1~2k extra HP will not make much of a difference.

You have heals and Safety Zone and Heals, plus Possession CCs forever.

then just gitgud? survival isn't much of a problem, mostly was the damage, mobs will disjoint possession if no safety so the only window to deal damage is while it is on, and since they are ranged they wont get close to it

My S.Corona has only 2 potential left, stuck at +10.
It is actually my 3rd S.Corona, all the previous failed a lot too and I trashed them.
My fist one got to +9 with 0 fails and then kept failing until +5.

I got to +10 easily on a lot of low level weapons for alts though, so maybe the number of stars influence the upgrade chance a bit.

I don't know if Voxandra is /tosg/ or not, but she certainly doesn't have the spirit. FPs and Ohayous were chilling together at the meetup up until she started killing us. After that, she literally stood on the spawn with Dark Theurge to spawnkill people while they revived. Not to mention, I had never seen her on meetups before.

More importantly, this entire server meetup is a huge fiasco. Over 100 people showed up because a GM said he'd be present, and they stood us up without even excusing themselves. They managed to do worse than doing nothing.
