Stats don't mean much when compared to ability multipliers. Chizuru beat Fencer even when all she had was the Murasame.

Let's say you do have a 360 ATK fencer (more than reasonable for a F2P, her attack stat is insane).
Chizuru can reasonably hit 333 ATK with the same investment.

A 360 ATK Fencer Piercing Blow would deal 2,799 damage max to a 1000 DEF enemy.
A 333 ATK Chorizo Barrage would deal 6,387 ATK to that same enemy.

With a Luna TM you would have an argument, but without that it's not even comparable.

WAY better than Artemios, with the caveat that his damage range is much broader. He's more worthy of the Killer Bow.

While Artemios might hit ~4k damage a turn with barrage, Mustadio could hit anywhere from 2k to 12k a turn.

WoL is better because he can do it all in just one turn instead, although generally the attack debuffs are the most important part of FB anyway.
Damage scales exponentially, even for enemies, but defenses scale linearly. So neutering their damage output is more important than going for their defenses.

That's kind of how I feel. Later on, 6* Cecil can cover tanking and also gets heals and supports abilities, so I could probably drop both Leo and Lenna for him. Also probably need less DPS with 6*, and they'll be DPS characters with breaks and debuffs.

Well JP got Goldfest (and MC3s) at the same time as this VII event we have now, so there is no ETA on it for us.
This VII event actually had an MC3 lode as a reward, so either they'll add it in when we get bonus battles, or they're screwing us out of one or more MC3s until they finally decide to release that event.
Considering the fact that we still have a "special" event going (Five Dooms), I'm not optimistic that we'll get it very soon. They really need to stop delaying these things.

Exdeath is great in the fight, equip him with Bio Blaster. It works based on MAG, but it's actually an ability. Bring a full break friend and you can beat him with a full team of "mages"

Neither of the Keeper's Choice banners interest me. Vol. 1 is automatically shit due to having no G5, and Vol. 2's bonus armor relics don't really appeal to me since I already have actual SB relics.

No, I don't need Shout and SG either. I already have SS2, plenty of medicas, and a few hastegas too among them Song Of Swiftness and Flames Of War.
