Tower keys don't exist anymore. They were replaced with "Relics". For example a Tower I Mobile Defense was turned into a "Lith A1 Relic". The relic has a certain set of drops that you can get from it, just like a Tower key, but it tells you what the drops are, and what the chances are of getting what you want.

Say you have a party of 4 people, and you're all using Lith A1 relics, and say there's something you really want that's also really rare. You get a crap reward, Player 2 gets a crap reward, Player 3 gets a crap reward, and Player 4 gets the cool thing. If that happens, Players 1–3 can choose Player 4's item and say "No, I want this instead!" and then everyone walks away with Cool Thing™.

It's an overall improvement over tower keys, since you can even refine these relics to improve your chances of getting the rare thing. Then you just post in global chat "H Axi G1 Radiant", and you'll get three other people that also running Radiant—that is, the highest level you can improve the drop rates to. The chances are pretty high that you'll get what you want.

Void tileset is its own "planet" now, and going there is pretty much only for argon crystals. To run a relic, you just use navigation in the top right and pick the icon that looks like a helix. You can run special missions that are corrupted from their normal mission: that is, if there's a Spy on Earth and a Void Fissure opens up on that node, you can do the Spy mission but also gather 10 pickups you need to "open" your relic at the end of the mission. Failing or aborting the mission (or completing it without 10 reactant) will not use up your relic.

Fuck Mobile Defense fissures. Fuck getting 10 reactant in the first 3 tiles, but still have to deal with the bullshit rifts spawning shit to slow you down the rest of the mission (this is worst on exterminates because even though the new units don't count towards the total kills, the minimap still points to the fucks so you don't know which tile to go next if one lags behind). Fuck getting 10 traces at the end, 3 times in a row. Fuck Forma, too. There needs to be more Relics that DO NOT have Forma, so I can use those to farm ducats.
All in all, its actually far better than before, unless you are actually farming for ducats, which is even worse than before.

Bow's at are least better because YOU CAN PRE-EMPTIVLY CHARGE AND HOLD IT. You can run around with a charge and just snipe someone with it when you want to. The Opticor DOES NOT GET THIS OPTION. I feel like you guys are saying this with the mentality of someone who already has a thorough understanding of exactly how the mission works because you've replayed it a bunch.

This is the first time you ever use this gun. And I did the same thing, click it like crazy, but then you find out holding kills the enemy's before the boss faster. So you get used to doing that. It also feels wrong as a player to spam click it. Because there's no UI you can't tell if you're charging it up and then nothing happens, or using one bullet.

Then you meet the boss. I'm pretty sure I did kill it by holding the mouse down with the beam the first round. Why wouldn't I try to do it again the next round? But next round that strategy doesn't work. And because you can't die literally, DE wasn't trying to make this difficult, they were trying to make it enjoyable, why would there only be one way to kill a boss (by spam clicking) when this is the first and only time you ever get to use this gun, that you can either spam, or hold. As a player 5 minutes before you just figured out holding it is way superior to spamming in terms of dps. Why would they do that?

There's no other reason besides this mission and that weapon are designed like shit.

well the tricky bit is that we can't change the shape of the warframes right. By design most (not all) warframes are very curvy/streamlined in their design. SO when I started this stuff I had to make some sacrifices and find a middle ground. Something thats kinda grineer inspired but would still work with the shape language of most of the frames. So yeah. Its kinda halfsie.

The place you could do more of that stuff is helmets. but then in most cases they would stand out like a sore thumb from the rest of the armor.

Warframes are originally infested golems, which were just monsters. When they were discovered to be controllable, they were built from the ground up to channel void energy via the operators and became just puppets, blank slates until a will was imposed upon them via transference.

Umbra warframes are built warframes that are in their own control for one reason or another. With the Titania lore, the current favored fan concept is that transference leaves an imprint of the Operator's mind onto the Warframe.

This is favored because it explains how Stalker had skipped on cryosleep entirely, he could just be a Warframe now, further pushed on how he now has the Excalibur Umbra model, and why the Grove Warframes still defend the forest.

No son, that is exactly what it means. This is a game of efficiency for the sake of making farm times less awful. Melee is an objectively worse way to play the game. Pure melee builds don't do anything that gun-focused or ability-focused builds can't do better.

I love the melee system man, but melee is inherently bad right now. It has been for quite some time. However, with the reduced need to run endless content it is in a much better place than it has ever been.
