Before that, Aroduc released a blogpost detailing the events that went down, which was more-or-less;

I rated it lowly because it's pretty much a copy paste of previous miel games to, like, indefensible degrees. There's always overlap between characters in nukige, you could make the same complaint of many companies or even games from different companies I'm sure. But with Miel, it's almost offensively identical. I can't in good conscious rate a game like that highly. It may sound ridiculous, but the writing and characterization in nukige is fairly important to me, if I'm going to be reading a whole dang novel I'd like the reading aspect to bear fruit. I tend to give leeway by rating a vn a 6.9 as long as I can fap to it but in this case I think I was too stunned by the lack of anything new to do so. I've played a lot of Miel games.

Note that the "subjective elements" are described as such because while you can point to examples, it's more of a general literary concept than a straight up element of the language you can point out.

It's pretty different. For example, when you are reading sentences in English you get a "definitive" meaning out of it. However in Japanese everything is highly contextual - even if you see a sentence you can have 0 idea what it means without seeing and understanding the context. There's also a huge amount of words that have like 5+ meanings depending, when a Japanese person sees them they automatically think of all the subtleties of the word, however translators just pick one of many and put it into English.

I'm not sure but I believe it's possible to show it neurologically nowadays.
Of course it won't be exactly the same even between two Japanese persons hearing the phrase, but it doesn't need to be exactly exact, just like everyone drives over bridges constructed with the help of floating point numbers every day even though they can't be exact.

Makina's and Amane's routes are generally regarded as the best and the ones that best lead into the sequel. Personally I'd have them until last, Makina then Amane, but if you're the kind of person who likes to eat his steak before his broccoli, then go for it, it doesn't really matter. Just know that none of the cliffhangers brought up in Makina's and Amane's routes are going to be addressed in the others.

Actually, I can't believe I forgot the BEST example: pronouns. It's literally impossible to translate 僕・私・俺・儂・我輩 and so on. These are so important that a character's personality can be somewhat effectively described by which pronoun they use, but there's genuinely no equivalent in English. The information is impossible to convey naturally in English... although there were some people memeing about quantum physics, the only way those 5 terms can be expressed in English is describing it third person (like "儂" is used by older men!) but the actual feeling of the words and the nuance to the characters given by their usage can't be expressed in translation. There can be approximations sometimes, like having someone use 我輩 also use formal medieval English, but it's not the same information.
