The recovery speed buff is way too much.

There's no point to pursuing someone else if you've already downed another person. You need to immediately get them on a hook or you'll lose any progress you gained from that chase.

It's also made sabotage a much stronger tactic. The point nerf was working to dissuade people from sabotaging, but they've caught on that due to the fast recover killers are even more fucked without hooks than before.

You can pick them up when they are in the trap and you get 500 deviousness points. If you hit them, they then become "invulnerable" like you witnessed and you can't hit them anymore. When this happens, you can still pick them up. Otherwise, when they free themselves from the trap they will be in dying state.

If you've hit them though and keep hitting at them, and they're aware enough, they'll just sit there and stop struggling in the trap and let you keep wasting your time. I've done this before to a Trapper and he ragequit, thinking I was hacking. A rule of thumb for Trapper is to -always- pick up your victims out of a trap unless you are being swarmed or something and need to make sure they don't escape as you chase one of their buttbuddies.
