The worst part about the Vacuum nerf is that Steve fucking thinks it was going to be well-received by the community.

He was hoping the """""""""universal""""""" Vacuum inclusion would soften the blow of TWW being delayed yet again. Everybody hated the 3-way split Vacuum, and Steve thought changing it to the current shitty 6m one was what we all wanted.

I've only rarely been close to being matched in kills or damage dealt by a saryn when playing as ash on sorties like that (as high as something like 30-40% while I'm 60+%), and that's even with a suboptimal mismatched-aura steel charge build focused on absolute max range and efficiency/capacity and a measly ~150% strength

by the way, sortie 2 isn't even that good a test field for damage %, since most of Saryn's damage goes through shields

the entire "killstealing" meme never even made sense to me. Most enemies in this game are one-shotted, I have no idea why people think spores killsteals anything. Just because an enemy dies under its effect doesn't mean Saryn gets the kill. Spores has to deal the last tick damage, which is difficult if it truly is as shit as you guys say

Well, it's not the first time for this game. Tigris had, for a while, a "bug" that let you fire only one shell with the alternate fire button. It was technically an unintended bug but everyone agreed that it's far better like that. Once it became a bit known, the functionality was removed because it didn't fit fatty's "vishun" of us holding every shell like retards.

Frost is Crowd control and great defender.
Wukong is like Valkyr, except he doesn't have support abilities.

Titania is an energy drain, and has to aim directly on an enemy to use 3 of her abilities, 2 of them levitate, and 1 making the enemy unkillable for a period of time.Ultimate makes you an archwing, which drains energy and will make going through sliding doors a pain.

the grineer camera bots are pretty predictable, though i have had one spot me as i finish the hack to open the spy room door, which was bs.

you can usually avoid enemies from outside fucking it up if you pause in the little antechamber most spy rooms have to be sure you're not followed. nothing exists in the spy room until you start the hack to get in, so if you go in clean you're good.

also chasis has higher drop chance on the moon. moon spy is a little crazy but there are a bunch of good video walkthroughs, and it becomes super easy after you complete a few times.

*Note from your Developers: It’s been 3 years of Carrier dominating the Vacuum business, and only recently we've even started a dialog on a topic you've brought up frequently. Experiments (such as The Vacuum Within) typically have 2 sides- you either fail or you succeed. Our previous idea to have universal Vacuum be a 3 Mod makeup was proposed on Devstream #80, to which we then scrapped after acknowledging the copious amounts of “please don’t do that” feedback.

From that, our new idea was to have Vacuum built into every Sentinel with a reduced range. Upon reading the constructive feedback from our Community about The Vacuum Within, it was clear we needed to make some tweaks- and here we have experimental Mutation X! Vacuum is now an equippable Mod (Precept) for all Sentinels. We have also increased the range from 6m to 12m at max rank. All current Sentinel owners will receive this Mod instantly, as well as retroactively with every Sentinel crafted or purchased- much like other default Precepts.

With that being said, we appreciate those that kept the feedback valuable and refrained from death threats. We changed something precious to you, and we will continue to change where needed as we listen to the Community.

Changed the Mod image for Ammo Case to better reflect its role.
Compacted large numbers for some ability notifications on the HUD (eg: Equinox’s Maim).

This is bullshit on par with Argon Crystals. I'd be sort of fine with Nitain if the recipes only requires 1, but no, Saryn Prime requires a total of 6.

What's the argument for it besides, literally, that it's a convenience? the problem is that a large number of people do give a shit. the whole game is grind for resources and credits to make shit to grind for more shit, a huge chunk of the gameplay is picking up EVERYTHING, with one of the major systems in the game being going far and fast nowhere near a lot of the loot. If you want all the pickups sans vacuum you have to break from parkour and run around to every little thing to grab it, which isn't engaging just tedious. It doesn't encourage exploration or finding cephalon fragments ir any of that shit, because all the things you want are just going to be laying on the killing floor where all the enemies either swarmed you in melee or stopped because they were in firing range of you, not down a blind hallway where nothing spawned but you can find a cephalon fragment.

Most of the people that make it far enough in the game to care about vacuum also care about efficiency. Playing a game like Warframe long enough will cause people to start looking for the fastest way to do things. And yeah, by itself one second seems like nothing, but it starts to add up when you have to do it 30+ times in a mission, and for those people that like to play the game efficiently (most of /wfg/ for instance) that's too much.

The nerf was also unnecessary to begin with considering that most of the time is spent jumping around and bullet-jumping, so you never really got the full benefit of the 12m, and now that it's been cut in half to 6m it feels like even less than that.

Too many people use Carrier? Unlock Vacuum from Carrier and let other bots use it.

Hell, a straight buff to all-Sentinels-but-Carrier surviability would finally make them comparable instead of underwhelming. The main reason I ran Carrier was Vacuum was a tremendous QoL improvement over others.
