I was wondering, why don't they give us something else besides match winners whenever there is a world championship? Like why not not give us a set of mtg unhinged inspired cards? well, there's some easy to suggest replacement for most top money cards but trying to defend them is silly because the top money ones easily outclass them in many areas.

d/d/ will be a top deck by feb. when the structure hits but abc will still be the better deck to play and both want to play a number of pots of desires. to be honest, most top decks will want to play a number of pots of desires and some of those a number of solemn strikes on top of that.

even if the core of the deck can be put together for little, optimizing it will make the price skyrocket and you will have to decide if you want to run it optimized or can live with a worse version of it.

How would you fix the Legendary Decks? KoA can't make new cards for sets like this?

I would put a new Pendulum Time Magician card in Joey's Deck with a decent Pendulum Effect that summon fusions from the Extra Deck and destroy all monsters in the opponent's field. Then I will add retrained versions of Red-Eyes, Baby Dragon and Flame Swordsman with "Future/Thousand" fusions for them. Add some new gamble support on it too because why not, like a searcher for spell/traps that need coin/dices for effect activation.

Also, new fusions for the Legendary Dragons could be nice.

Eh, the way I see it is this way:
There is a commen set of cards that see play in almost every deck: solemns, tt, extra deck staples, desires, dimension barrier soon, etc.

Once you have however many you want of these, then it costs much less to build decks when you can simply buy the core and swap in your staples.

This game is only expensive to start playing; that is, when you don't have copies of all the staple cards. After that it's much more manageable.
