Lemme guess, more Atma shit. The problem is some people weren't using ENOUGH meter during pools. Some of them died with 5 bars unused and I'm just facepalming through my entire head like a rocket launcher went through it and put a hole there. KOFXIV gives you meter at a pretty decent pace, not to mention you CAN whiff specials into meter gain in this game, so why not spend SOME. Now, there is a problem when people use optimal combos and spend more than they have to on one, but christ, that's just a trivial issue if you can get it back and regain the advantage.

Then the designer of Ragna must do a better job at designing him since the guy does not know how to translate Ragna's character through his design and choice of clothing. Just look at all the characters and you can easily tell their character through their clothing choice or lack there off. Combine that with their facial expression and their posture/actions then you can get a general idea of who they are. I mean just looking at Sol I can tell he looks like a goddamn slacker since the guy is lying down relaxed with that cocky expression of his, while Ryu, eventhough relaxed is keeping his back straight and has a smile yet his eyes and brows show steely determination.
Ragna, hell first impression is that he's an edgy asshole similar to Kyo, but he up the ante and has to wear all of those belt buckles, get a hair bleach job and make it spiky. You cant even tell if he's good natured or anything, just the typical shonen character that we see hundreds of times before and that in itself needs a design overhaul so the players can immedietely tell if he's a good guy or a bad guy through his choice of clothing.

If he is very friendly then good for him at least that is a step to the right direction but you cannot force me to approach him. I would far better approach Jin or even Kenshiro than Ragna.
