You can't hack it without either hardmodding it, or a second already hacked 3DS which can transfer over an exploited DSiWare title with a System Transfer.

If neither of those are an option, the best you can do is use a few exploitable gamecards like Smash Bros, OoT, Cubic Ninja, Freakyforms Deluxe or Paper Mario Sticker Star as 11.1 entrypoints.

So, I hacked my 3DS back in January, so I still have RxTools, but now I want to switch to arm9lh and I have a few questions that the guide doesn't really answer:

1. Will my saves be safe?

2. Do I need to update my EmuNAND to 11.1 before doing anything?

3. What if my SysNAND and my EmuNAND were separated? Apparently you have to inject your EmuNAND into your CFW SysNAND, but won't that cause trouble because of the different IDs (from the 'Nintendo 3DS' folder) and maybe the tickets?

4. Would switching to this mean that I can play, say, GBA games without having to do extra shit? Just install and play?

I'm debating whether it's worth or not doing the change. If it causes too much trouble, then I suppose I can just switch to Luma3DS and keep using the old EmuNAND method.

Still having RxTools is reason enough to install. Also back then there was no A9LH, so your system is still vulnerable for unrecoverable bricks.
Installing A9LH+Luma isn't much more difficult than installing RxTools was back then. If you went through the trouble of installing RxTools, this should be a peace of cake. Just doubleread and doublecheck everything you're doing.

I have the new Taiko dump downloaded. After installing the main game through mai, how do I install the patch (picrel)? Do I install it the same way as any other game?
