My college is hosting a hearthstone tournament but only basic decks are allow to allow newer players and casual players who haven't spend money in the game to compete.

Does anyone know what is the best class/deck to use for basic cards?

Reminder that Warrior is the perfect class design wise.

>Good stated minions from early to mid to late game
>Good and sinergistic effects on said minions
>Good spells that also are sinergistic with their minions effects
>Good minion removal
>Moderate non-bullshit or rng dependant value generation
>Lots of viable archetypes inside the class with different playstyles (control warrior, pirate warrior, dragon warrior, patron warrior, c'thun warrior, midrange warrior, worgen combo)
>Very few RNG dependant cards, which most also are very bad (except for brawl), making sure they don't shit the ladder with rng

Warrior is the epitome of what a class should be, Other classes should be buffed to be like Warrior and stop giving them "le wacky rng I won or lose XD" crap.
If you hear or read someone saying "Warrior is overpowered" or "Warrior should be nerfed", you know you're talking to a bad player.

Hunter and totem shaman should be basically autopilot to 5 if you play enough and aren't retarded. Zoo too, for that matter, at least if you don't queue into 100% midrange shaman (good luck though).
Also, most midrange shamans (which in this meta is the blatantly superior deck to aggro) don't even run a single Doomhammer anymore - so even if you want to play that, you don't need them.

Any suggestions for this before I start using it in ranked? It's basically Sheng's basic deck with some substitutions made. (2 azures+wrath instead of 2 inventors + kobold, 2 hoarders and bombers instead of bloodfens and oozes)
I have a few Druid spells like Power of the wild and naturalize, as well as single copies of ancient of war, nourish, bite, and star fall. I also have two copies of druid of the claw, but I have no idea what to take out for them.

i have a c'thun mage (outdated i know) and a zoo/disco lock done, so i fancy some kind of warrior deck

i know dragon warrior is quite popular but does it come with a bunch of expensive legendaries? I figured that the choose a dragon card kind of stepped around that

You know that Hearthstone is the only card game I've ever heard of where only 1 of the available deck types can feasibly gain health beyond the starting maximum.

Wonder if the developers ever considered how unfair that might be. Overheal is a fucking staple of trading card games (I mean fuck, in Magic it's literally a win condition through the effects of some cards), what stupidity made the developers think making it something only one class can do was a good idea?

Okay, so I'm a scrub that got this month to rank 11 for the first time with a netdecked hunter deck.

I made these two decks. Beast druid is only for casual play, I enjoy to play it very much. The shaman one I will try to climb ranked next month as much as possible.

Any changes you guys would made to any of the two decks to improve them?

I've been playing since march and my collection is not great but I could dust some shit if it's going to be worth it.

Is there any way to make an innerfire OTK priest work decently?
Maybe Stranglethorn Tiger, followed by a shield/double divine spirit the next turn.

I remember that being my go to strategy when I was real new, but I would try it with the Oasis Snapjaw. The tiger of course has the advantage of stealth.

I'm not sure, but I think the introduction of new mechanics would be a step in the right direction. Something that makes the game a bit more complex, and hopefully enables a wider range of viable archetypes.

The simplicity of Hearthstone is what makes it so appealing to a large audience so the game is never going to be very complex since it probably doesn't make sense from Blizzard's POV, but I think it really hurts the long-term playability of the game.

I just think in its current state, even a new expansion is not going to shake up the game significantly. Sure there are going to be new cards, but we will probably have the same archetypes with a few new cards in them, but no decks that are really doing something more unique like freeze mage, or mill etc.

We only had 2 releases in the Spring. They were both in April, but there is no reason why they could not release it earlier.

If they do indeed do 2 expansions and 1 adventure then they need to have 3 3 3 months patterns between expansions, since an expansion give more content than an adventure, but adventure let the hype roll in for a full month by releasing a wing a month. The earlier during the year they can release an expansion, the better. 3 Months between each expansion should be good.
