The iOS footage probably has upscaled textures and a higher internal resolution. You have to remember that this is ripped from a 3DS, and the 3DS's upper-screen (where the gameplay takes place) has a resolution of about 400x240.

With DD we have iPad footage, which is 100% less blurry. Sadly, we need to work with 3DS footage for soj, since there is no iPad port

The only way you could get higher resolution footage from the 3DS games is to run them through an emulator.
You could change the algorithm used for resizing to make the image sharper when you're downscaling from the 3DS's resolution to AO's, but otherwise there isn't a lot that can be done.

Just accept the fact that the amount of people who want a pure AA server are in the (I think quite small, to be honest) minority.

I don't think that's the case. The Crossover Court rarely gets more than 7-11 people on days that a class trial isn't being done.
Remember that only like 2 or 3 people from /drg/ stuck around on this server.

I think everybody realizes this happens and that it's unnecessary, but you have to take some time to consider why it happens.

There are people such as myself who multiclient to lurk in CC while watching or participating in another case, using CC as basically a lounge to discuss ideas for CTs i write or to just talk about the DR3 anime
Then there are people who haven't done a class trial and want to try one, so when one is supposed to happen they don't want to miss out. It's a classic problem of not enough supply to meet the demand.

That could be alleviated by more people just writing them and randomly doing them in the other areas, like investigations, jury cases, etc other pre-writtens. One more thing that's a problem, but I hesitate to call it out is the same few fuckers who do every single Class Trial.

I won't name them but they basically jump into every single one and since the number of players is limited, it makes it harder for anybody else to participate. If there are 10 slots, you already know 5 of them will be filled by the usual suspects.

And what can you really do to those people? Tell them to stop winning the doc race?

That doesn't help. There definitely have been trials that were done randomly that weren't on the Custom Content Hub's schedule, but that actually just incentivizes people to lurk in the CC more often to get in one of the random CT's, does it not?

Scheduling isn't the problem, it was never the problem.

Think of it this way: whether someone waited 5 hours with the client on in the background or waited with the client closed, it is in practice the exact same thing. They were never going to do a case in between while waiting either way, since they plan to try to do the class trial.

I wont lie I' chose the CT. They are already written, you don't lose 2 hours writing alone a case and evidence while people loungepost, you don't have to wait 3hours for a wit2. And you know there a tinelimit meaning I know when it's over. I've done countless and countless of normal case. I still have fun in each format, whenever it's CT, case, Civil Lawsuit or Investigation. But for my kind of schedules, CT are better.

I still understand why people are upset, against idling, especially when you need people and you see an area with 20 people waiting... while I don't know how we can solve this I can just apologise...

I think that post-case discussion for 5-10 min is normal after a case, people will react, ask about their idea, how they did during the case etc.

The 3DS's resolution is 400x240, while AO's resolution is 256x192.

Resize your images to 320x192 using Bicubic Sharper, then crop it so that its width matches AO's. If you're working on a witness, all you really need to do is change the canvas size. Prosecutors and attorneys have to be shifted around a little.

Don't just resize from 400x240 to 256x192, or else it'll look like crap.

Working on some Kurain shit since the footage was finally out. I know someone else is already making Metal Jesus, but I figure this could be helpful.

There is a way in Photoshop to remove the black bg from every single frame in a group without spamming magic wand:

1. Create a group frames.

2. Right click the group and click Blending Options.

3. Under the first option (Blending Options: Custom), slide the leftmost bar at the bottom to one.

4. All the black bgs on every frame in your group will now become transparent.

I haven't tested this with his more dynamic movements, but it does cut down on tedium. Hope this helps.
