Saint-14 provides invaluable crowd control in some very specific cases. Last damage phase on Golgoroth? Put a bubble behind your fireteam so the taken thrall don't kill them. I haven't tried but I bet it would be great during Aksis to blind the Captains as they come out of their closets.

Generally people can dip in and out of your bubble during DPS phases on bosses just fine so I never found Glasshouse all that useful.

I didn't plan ahead to have a group so I got a PUG to do it blind the day of. Ended up spending maybe 8 hours between a few different groups doing everything blind. I bought The Division when it came out because Destiny was going through a content drought. I gave it a fair shot but gave up on it before the Incursion came out. Based on that experience I can say that if you can tolerate The Division's endgame then you'll love Destiny.

You can but you should keep in mind that each chest is just the same loot at the checkpoint. So the chest at Archpriest would just be another fusion, shotgun or boots. Meanwhile the chest after Siege Engine would be another arms or chest.

Try the Taken War strike playlist, since you need blue engrams up to 340. If you get any purple engrams along the way save them until after you're 340 since they'll get you between 340 and 350.

You can also try some PvP since you'll get gear drops from that.

On the spaceship screen go to Set Destination and the blue Vanguard button in the top right has the Strike playlists. Strikes are the core PVE activity and are a 3-man matchmade raid on some big bad bosses which will usually drop some rare (blue) tier gear at or slightly above your current light level.

Engrams should decrypt a few points higher than your current level, so it'll slowly creep up no matter what you do until you hit various caps. Until you're 340 though, you can do whater you think is most fun. Try to make sure you do the daily PvP game and a public event as that will net you 30 marks a day, which you can spend on 350 legendaries at the tower.
