Dungeons either warp you out when you beat the boss or provide a ladder directly to the surface next to it, not to mention that 悪魔の羽根 item sold in shops warps you to the start of the area from anywhere. You can run always from random fights too.

My only gripe is that you are not allowed to pursue a single girl without touching other girls at all, which is not quite open-world'ish.
There are some engine/UI annoyances too, but holding Ctrl often helps.
I'll see if it goes worse as I keep playing and report back.
