I want to go back to the HoW meta honestly. Hit registration was better, shotguns were strong but outclassed by skilled snipers, the TTK was less forgiving for everyone involved. I just enjoyed the game more when it was faster.

I'm hoping I get as into Trials this time around as I did in HoW. I did like 6 or 7 flawless runs a week back then, just helping out LFG groups in getting their flawless. I miss it, but I just don't find the current state of The Crucible fun.

Shotguns are 100% reaction time where as Sniper, Fusion Rifles, and Sidearms all require some modicum of skill to get consistent kills with, Shotguns are literally point and shoot. Also, don't sprint through the halls to forge, walk instead. If that doesnt work, go down to the warrens, then walk back up. I read (so it's probably not true) that it's easier to mm coming up from the warrens.

If you're really hurting for one, if you have another character, run through the RoI story and do the missions for Shiro that'll get you a key. Almost every time I've opened a Skeleton Key chest I've gotten an artifact better than the one I have.
