Lots of under the hood code work for the base gameplay has been finished, including the missile mechanic I last talked about. We tested it a bit and decided it was too OP/DFM like on its own so we are rolling it into the standard lock system as a accuracy booster mechanic.
We also have VR support now, works better than I would have thought:

Good news on the emulator front:
The latest dev builds of PCSX2 now have a hack for rudimentary hardware based minmap support. This allows certain games like Ace Combat 4 and 5 to run in hardware mode without fucked up textures
It's still pretty buggy in its current state, but at least we know they're getting somewhere
If you want to try it out for yourself, dl the latest dev build and add UserHacks_mipmap=1 to your GSdx.ini file found in the inis folder

So I decided to give Infinity another try after having participated in the Beta and a little afterwards.
But whenever I try to install them updates, I get error 80710723 (error during install operation), my base game gets corrupted, and I'm basically fucked ans have to redownload the base game again (which is a pain on my internet speed).
So far I've tried booting PS3 into safe mode for rebuilding database and then restoring file system, and I also tried to let PS+'s automatic updates. No cigar. It always gets corrupted as fuck.
Any suggestions? I'd love to work up to fly at your wing, anons.

How the CRISPR system works in bacteria (where we stole it from) there's this bank of repeated gene sequences like beads on a string. Whenever the cell picks up bits and pieces of virus DNA, after an infection or something, it inserts them into the CRISPR "bead necklace" in between the beads.
This makes a neat little database, with easily identifiable chunks of virus genetic material in it. The "Cas" system is the system that works with this CRISPR database. It does a lot of things, but the important thing for us is that Cas 9 lets us insert and remove whichever genes we want to.

Thunder usually doesn't stream if someone else announces they'll be streaming. Also it seems like thunder usually works until about this time.
Since there's like 4 other streamers, chances are good one of them will announce they're streaming before thunder gets home.
The one exception is when he does music only comfy streams, which usually aren't announced and might be mostly for non /aceg/ people.

We have 1 B-52 and a Falcon, Rafale and Gripen, all stolen off HAWX.
Our modeller is working on an Su-35 but he tends to die for a few months at a time so we're just proceeding with placeholders for now.
Plans are to have at least one in-house model done by the MVP release and obviously switch to entirely original by the full release. Content wise hopefully we will have all the essential shit in by the multiplayer EA version and then start to branch out for campaign mode.
