Sup, author of MegaTen undubs on 3DS here, I need a little help.

I'm currently working on undubbing SMT4 and Apocalypse properly (finally with undubbed moflex cutscenes too thanks to decrypter by some guy from GBAtemp and the encoder from Nintendo's SDK) but that's beside the point.

What I need help with is unpacking/decrypting DLCs for Persona Q so I can undub those DLCs.

A lot has changed since I undubbed stuff and it seems a lot easier now (went through A9LH yesterday as well to get up to speed), basically I'm using HackingToolkit3DS to unpack the .CIA with DLCs but that gives me a bunch of files called "DecryptedApp.0003.00000003", "DecryptedApp.0004.00000004" etc (pic related).
The CIAs were previously ran through Decrypt9, just saying.

Anyone know how do I go about decrytping/unpacking each one of them and then also repacking them once I'm done swapping files?

not currently possible it seems, the tool that exists that extracts the dat can't repack it, and just putting the US dat in the JP rip wholesale causes the game to crash, if you manage to get them to extract, repack and still play (here's where I found the extract tool: http://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?t=2977 )

+Fun combat with tons of flashy moves and like 10 weapon types
+Really good character creation that's fairly in depth
+The game looks beautiful and runs like butter (most of the time) Vita screenshots dont do it justice
+You fight regular enemies and sometimes big ass enemies that You can catpture and use on the field

-No the easiest thing to learn at first, lots of menu's thrown at you in the beginning but a simple guide helps and you'll be on your feet in less than 5 hours ;)
-Lots of cutscenes, depending on whether you know japanese these can be an issue since the majority of which are just characters sitting around talking (skippable though)

8/10 though only 6 hours in.

Are you guys playing online? You should. If you think you'll get banned because you're playing online or synching your trophies then that's probably true, it's just a matter of time until sony starts banning people. The thing is, you don't need to be signed in for sony to retrieve information from your vita because as long as you have internet connection your vita will send information to sony without you even noticing it.

So, unless you put your vita into airplane mode seconds after installing henkaku and never actived your wifi connection ever again then you'll get banned along with anyone playing online or synching their trophies. I really hope you're enjoying the spoofing because it will not last forever and if you're afraid of getting banned you should already count on that, just a matter of time

Hello, I dont usually drop by hbg but im desperate to play the Miles Edgeworth Investigations 2 game on my DS

I have a R4 revolution card which works well with all the other games I have but with MEI2 it tells me theres a region 4 code error (something along those lines). Ive tried a few things and nothing is really working. Any help would be super appreciated!

Any 3DS pros around?

I'm on the verge of buying a second 3DS (a 2DS in this case) to play Pokémon with my brother. There's a guy willing to sell me his 9.X 2DS for a nice price, so it's almost certain that I will get one instead of a N3DS or a XL.

Anyway, is there anything I should keep in mind before installing A9LH? My other 3DS is running Luma3DS with CtrBootManager, so I don't know shit about A9LH.

Also, is there any noticeable gains in using a class 10 card instead of a plain regular class 4 card? The 2DS is already coming with a 32gb card, so I don't know if it's worth to spend a few extra bucks on a class 10.

a9lh is stupidly easy to install and I recommend you get it on both devices. Just make sure you don't skip any instructions or do something dumb like let your 3ds die during ctrtransfer.

Speed really doesn't matter, unless you're going to be doing a lot of transferring to/from pc.
