It took them 9 months to nerf sunsingers, and by the time they did it was the most used to cheese wins in trials with endless resurrect chains, aoe nades with dots that could easily remove 70% of your health and force a player out of combat for 15 seconds.
I'm ok with current sunsinger, the problem is people want easy wins, and sunsinger doesn't achieve that anymore, that's why everyone and their moms is a blink shotgunning voidlock with melee attacks that restore their health and give free super/nade energy, or super cheesy long range melee storm locks.

Farming Omnigul is broken in how effective it is.
Make sure to equip any gear you get that's a higher LL as you get it so that gear that drops for you will continue to be a higher LL. Blue drops are capped at 365 light right now, so when you hit that point you will need to do activities that can provide you with legendary gear, farm strikes for chests and purple drops, or level up your factions for gear rewards.

The only real difficult part about it is when the Ogre enrages and starts chasing you around. The shanks that drop out of the sky about 50% of the way through are annoying too but its fairly easy to take them out if you know they're coming.
