In the US they're called soul gems.

Yeah that's true, quantity is really important too. There's some great youtubers out there who only make a video like every few months or even like once a year. No doubt hurting the fanbase they could have.

I've went and played Yokai Watch after not playing it for some time until now because of the upcoming release of 2. Managed to beat Wobblewok rather easily, probably because I had five S Rank Yokai with Betterfly alongside them being level 99 and having their main methods of attack being maxed out.

I could get most of the Yokai but I don't think I have the patience for that. I'll probably do a playthrough with Katie this time to see any differences between it and use different Yokai in it.

Shotanon here, needing some input for future story ideas. Would suicide be too much for the story, or would you guys be okay with it? I'm milling the idea around of having a character do so, but I'm not too sure if it'll feel right to you guys or not.

Adding suicide could easily make a relatively light-hearted story go down damn fast. I though the way Keita treated Kanchi's after the confrontation was dark as is. Unless you plan on having it be a climax for the story of sorts or end up using it for comedy somehow I say nay, since it kills the flow of the story you got so far.

I had no attraction to her or Nate until recently. That's the uncensored version. Basically any shot where Pandle's ass was on display was either cut short or zoomed in so you couldn't see it like that scene. Aim for the highest damage/score possible. Use attack/score boosters and max out as much damage as you can during fever
Massiface is a decent boss to grind as well if you got yokai with direct damage soultimate (Komashura, Libertynyan, etc).
If you can tank it out, Mckraken is also a boss that yields high score because of all of his hitboxes

So does terror time still happen in YW2 as you move around town but your forced into a game of busters when that happens? Or is it just Busters mode now?

Suprised that so many changes to a disliked mechanic in the first game let to that mechanic getting a spin off game.

Terror time still happens in 2, but you got a lot of goodies on your side to prepare for it.

The weather app supposedly helps predict the probablility of the next terror time event occuring.
There are items scattered around to help you survive and escape terror time
The mini-game version (blasters) allows you to use yokai you like to fight oni and have some fun
There is an incentive to college oni orbs and escape terror time (crankakai rolls)
You are no longer stopped while spotted so that means you have extra time to get to the exit.
If caught you don't get into a hopeless battle with an Oni; instead you get whacked right back to bed. A time saver for some.

So is the terror time you experience randomly throughout the game different from the Blasters version? Do you face the oni one way or the other or is the Blasters oni fight only available through the menu?

As much as i'd like to use that mode the lack of online usability makes that not an option, and it'd suck if that's the only way you can get good terror time rolls from the gacha.
