I drew Fumika's regular SSR when I was on a specific gacha splurge, and while I'm indifferent to her, I found her 3D model pretty pretty. Though now, I wish I had her limited SSR instead; the casual card art and the 3D model stage outfit are both better, I think. It could actually be more beneficial on a Cool song to run a Rin Non-Limited SSR team with two healer SSRs of the same type on base stats alone if they have max fans and you've allocated those points. Really you need to assess everyone you have, especially if you've got a lot of excess mats or a CinFes SSR in the mix to determine the real best score team.

That still doesn't make sense since a Cinfes SSR gives 200% main stat bonus while a single type gives a maximum of 180%. And since all type songs always give a higher stat boost that only makes them that much better.

The new boost system might have an effect but I'd argue that since getting to +10 on the main stat is super easy and getting significantly further on secondary stats takes a such a ridiculous amount of time that it doesn't really make that much of a difference considering the other factors.

I think you're underestimating the importance of having Combo skills on your team. People here have said that the ideal ratio is 3/2 Combo/Score skills, even if that might mean sacrificing an SSR just to get another Combo. I don't know for sure but I've had over 100k differences in score between an FC song and one with a single Nice in the middle so I'm inclined to agree.

Really even the single stat SSRs with an optimal team are going to be better than the CinFes if you allocate your point accordingly.

For multi color songs there's still nothing compared to a single stat CinFes squad but otherwise there are otherwise units that are better or very comparable.

If you mean skills, combo and score do stack. It's multiple of the same type that don't stack. So first of all, it's best to go with 2 of one and 3 of the other. Again, OG Rin is useless since she doesn't have a score increasing skill. She's top tier on a support team and is worth owning but not actually playing with.

Everything else you said depends on the song type you're playing. If it's a specific type, then there may be some increase to stats since the +30% applies to every idol. But that only really means that every card is getting a +210% bonus rather than a >+180% on your best stat cards of ANY type. And since all type songs apply that extra 30% bonus plus whatever additional boost they get a CinFes team will always be superior.

Really it annoys me that you're missing that with the release of the bonus stats, and specifically limiting each stat to 10, they've made it so that the NG SSRs (and other mutli stats) are best for thier color and the CinFes SSRs are best for their stat.

It's kind of like they planned it all along but people stuck on the shit the CinFes SSRs introduced are stuck on it without actually considering the huge stat boosts given from the bonus stats.

Yes, but if you have 5 stat focused SSRs of the same type, that team will generally be better than a rainbow team for a type-specific song, since SSRs stats aren't that far away that the 30% type boost doesn't matter. In particular, that Cool team has three combo boosts and two score boosts at different timings, already so the skill flexibility advantage of rainbow team is negated.

As a side note, the initial NewGens are no longer the strongest support SSRs. The permanent Air, LongLoli, and Syukos are slightly stronger.

So let me try to break this down even further for the fucking morons here. So with the new stats system you can give a significant stat boost to an idol up to 25 times bases on their fans HOWEVER you can only do this 10 times per stat so team that relies on one stat will not be as powerful overtime and will fail misreably to team that focus multi stats or a single color, especially multi stat boosters such as the original NG or those that have come after them. If you are having a hard time grasping this go try boosting a few of your idols and see how much of a base stat it gives them. Thanks.

Balanced cards need to raise all their stats to make proper use of them, because each stat is only increased by 30% with their center skill.
Specific stat cards, by raising just one stat, can achieve the same level because the center skill will increase it 90%.
NG CinFes SSRs fall under the latter, except they'll go a bit further and increase the stat 100%.

(And by far, Love Letter is setting the highest record for bloodiest T1-T3 bloodbath for a Token event) Saite Jewel was the strongest Token Event ever. It goes without saying, but this is a strong event.

The recent strongest Token Events were Ashita Mata and Saite Jewel.

They aren't. Well, in certain situations, they are. But not generally.

90% bonus with a team that focuses on one stat strength would be better. If you have ragtag bunch of cards, then you might see better mileage from a 30%-all bonus. But if say, you have five vocal stat focused cards of one attribute, then a 90% vocal bonus will do you much better.

A 2nd gen newgen team can easily be as powerful as a mono single attrib team on a mono song. The differences between the two are so small that it’ll be the idol potentials that make it worth switching or not.
