Install the .pkg to your Vita with Package Installer, then copy the .rif into the appropriate folder with FTP

You're not supposed to modify mai dumps in any way, that's just some halfassed method some dumb people came with and doesn't work all the time.

You're supposed to copy the WHOLE mai dump folder (with the gameID name) to ux0:/mai/ and install it with the maidump tool. You transfer the entire folder through PSP save method or FTP, you don't zip it or rename it or anything else, just the entire decompressed game folder.

the two I know of that I myself can rely on are probably oothax or ninjhax. I have cubic ninja setting around (Yes it does work again for 11.0 and 11.1) so that is what I used. OoT is a good game so you might want to buy that just to play it normally anyway. You do need a powersave device to inject the hacked save that will launch the browser but most people price that combination at around $30 as apposed to the first game mentioned which is rare and can be found online sometimes for $80

I know there are no devs on /hbg/, but just in case, I noticed a couple of things while using Paint Park Plus
>in app WebKit browser
When you first start the app, it tries to connect to your Twitter account via a stripped down version of the Vita's web browser that runs within the app. Maybe one day VPKMirror can do the same, host the browser with the app itself, or down the road we can use this to port over web based services like doodle or die.
>Multitasking capable
I'm still surprised that no homebrew apps have this feature yet, especially Vitashell, but at least we know 3rd party apps are able to integrate it into their code.

I thought this died with the PSP. Would it be possible to write up a homebrew that enables custom servers like PPSSPP or would it be easier to leverage the existing infrastructure? I really don't know shit about networking to be quite very honest my family.

Is there anyone working on or is there anything that could flat out block 3D capabilities on a 3DS?

Not just disabling them but block them altogether from even potentially being available, I get some issues on top screen whenever the 3DS game is able to go 3D and parental control disabling doesn't works, it's just when the screen lets you go into 3D mode.

It's not a big issue, the top screen just gets noticeable vertical scanlines.

I've reset it plenty of times and always worked flawlessly, not sure what's going on with it but it's been a thing for around 3 months or so, at the start it went away after closing the 3ds but not anymore.

My 3DS XL is on 11.1.0-34U. OOThax should work on it, right?

I would never buy a used vita unless it came with a free 32gb, extras, or something. Even then, I would just pawn it off to some sucker for the price I paid for it, which is what I did to get a free 32gb mc and $10 profit. trying to update LoH coldsteel 1, and the docs sheet tells me to just extract this folder to PCSE00786.
Of course this means overwriting, so I do as it says and extract everything in the update folder to PCSE00786 in ux0:/app/PCSE00786.
But it still asks me to update the game and gives me error C2-128xxx, so I tried that chinese magic and shit still won't work.
Is this one of those games where the update files need to be put into ux0:/update/[gameid]/. If so, fuck your google docs.
