In bot lane people don't understand the concept of bad matchups or playing safe and not overextending.
They're used to snowballing from early leads because their matchup is good and going from there into hypercarry mode.
Where the reality is that such a strategy only works once in a while and has just a high chance to backfire as it is to succeed.
They don't understand that its not worth taking half your hp for one ranged creep, or that the enemy team might have a stronger laning phase than them.

And in the end when their plan backfires because it was a bad matchup one, typically the ADC, with the complete inability to understand that bad matchups exist, can only see the support as being the problem.

I don't think I worded this all that well but the point still stands:
Bot laners don't know how to play safe and not go for CS when its contested, die due to bad matchups or poor playmaking, and blame their partner because they are the only variable they can completely see in it all.
